- Oatmeal, on 10/29/2008, -0/+10I've noticed with expedia if you save a flight to your account but don't book it, and then come back later they'll jack up the price a bunch. Someone told me this is something the airlines automatically do to try and make more money. I booked a flight to India last spring that costed around $1800 (well, not booked, but saved to my itinerary). When I came back to actually finish the booking process the cost of the airfare had gone up by $400 in a matter of hours. I tried a completely new search and was able to find a flight again at that same rate.
- tjClassic82, on 10/29/2008, -0/+10it's that time if year again to start looking for good deals!! :)
- nichesiteexpert, on 10/29/2008, -0/+7I book either Tue or Wed and that seems to save me $$
- divinediva, on 10/29/2008, -0/+4A problem I’ve had almost every holiday… overplanning. I go off and try to maximize my time by visiting this place, then this place, then that place all in one day. My suggestion (albeit not perfect) would be along the lines of not planning and being okay with doing very little…
That’s hard for me though heh. - mrsblonde, on 10/30/2008, -0/+2Great tips!
For aussies though, I book with these guys every year and always seem to have the lowest prices wherever I go. http://www.travelonline.com/

- alexpanait, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1Great article, thanks for sharing. It's really useful to know how to plan your travel and also to get the best from the tourism companies.
- kishosingh, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1These all are great tips which need to know every one during the and before the traveling or booking for travel but one more thing should be appear here which is knowledge about destination. For example all the knowledge about http://indiatraveling.wordpress.com/ Indian destination is here. Like this to travel any destination we should be knowledge about that.
- lusenok2, on 10/30/2008, -0/+1I use my 3-event rule: if I plan more than 3 events on any given day my schedule will inevitably be screwen up.
Sometimes even 3 is too much. That's the nature of life... - cubicledrone, on 10/30/2008, -1/+1News flash: Everyone is broke, and that bufont bitch in the picture couldn't get across the street unless her alcoholic ex-husband paid for it.
