- spepin, on 10/05/2008, -1/+27Dugg for whatever that was pouring molten steel (?)
Also, some of those crazy armored trains from the past would've been cool. ie - http://www.tdg.nu/articles/historical%20articles/A ... - phreenet, on 10/06/2008, -0/+26Dugg for it all being on one page.
- basye, on 10/05/2008, -0/+21The tracks through the woods is my favorite shot.
- candyman682, on 10/05/2008, -4/+23Do they still use all those steam engines?
- divinediva, on 10/05/2008, -1/+18Nice pictures. It gives me a glimpse into the romantic era of rail travel when trains were the most sophisticated mode of transportation available.
- dabura, on 10/06/2008, -0/+15I like trains.
- clickfire, on 10/05/2008, -0/+14I want one of those!
- Ghostalker, on 10/06/2008, -2/+14Is it just me, or do some of these photos look like models rather then the real thing?
- bbardlbradd, on 10/06/2008, -0/+11You suck.
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -1/+10I liked the big red star on the front of some of the trains.
- ymikaz, on 10/06/2008, -0/+9No we don't. In real life you see them only as monuments, so these pics are about trains in Russia something like 50 years ago. Actually, there's a sign on one of those red star locos "The last steam engine built by Kolomen factory, 1869 - 1956". That's a pity, because they are really cool.
- eatsushi, on 10/06/2008, -0/+8I see the 500 train just arrived

- erocklodge, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3That is a great shot. I believe that train is dumping slag from a blast furnace. Byproducts of steel production.
- penguinofspades, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2because that is a rocket fired from a train
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT-23_Molodets - fragileKnight, on 10/06/2008, -1/+3long list of images no doubt... If you scroll down towards the end you will find a space rocket!!! Wonder why it is featured on this page?
But still, I have loved all the images of those train especially the one's with Steam Locos - nitsnipe, on 10/06/2008, -1/+3I wonder, how the hell did the guy take that picture? That snow looks like at least 7 feet. Either he was wearing dish antennas below his boots or the snow had been there for ages.
Either way, something like this... only in soviet Russia. - inactive, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2I ***** hate this. It doesn't even make sense!
