- juice33, on 03/17/2009, -5/+279Wow, after seeing this I am reminded to NEVER try to get that picture.
- sandemanport, on 03/17/2009, -5/+165they should go arrest these people a couple hours after and tell them they have picture proof of them knocking down a national land mark ...

- geoboy, on 03/18/2009, -0/+35I grew up in a touristy town. You often get the urge to run over the stupid ones that walk around in the middle of street.
But this... this has to be absolute torture for the locals. - MxM111, on 03/18/2009, -0/+34Well, some of them are trying to straighten it out...
- mrgarci1, on 03/17/2009, -2/+30Good thing I don't live in that neighborhood - if I did, I'd never get anything done, because I'd spend waaaaay too much of my time photobombing tourists.
- BobTheTaco, on 03/18/2009, -2/+26The two in the middle are just high fiving
- OffensivePrick, on 03/18/2009, -2/+26Digg comments seem more like youtube comments every day

- majortom1981, on 03/18/2009, -0/+12I see them looks like its an old picture that got stuck on newspaper. if you look carefully you can see them on the upper left of the pic.
- EricAnderton, on 03/18/2009, -0/+12Glad to see I'm not alone.
Me: "Wow, people travel to Pisa just to do Tai Chi?"
Me: ...
Me. "oh." - thelastcivilian, on 03/18/2009, -0/+11Who knew the tower was surrounded by boxes?
- ryan83189, on 03/18/2009, -1/+12"Do you know the significance of paul going barefoot, man? It changes everything man, it's so deep man, it's all like "anti this" man, but in like a rebellious way man..." -Every conversation with a stoner with that photograph on his wall.

- carb0n, on 03/18/2009, -1/+11Well, I have to say, when I looked at that picture, the Ginyu Force immediately came to mind.
- thx0138, on 03/18/2009, -0/+10Apparently this causes a lot of accidents, from Wikipedia:
"The crossing featured on the Beatles cover, as well as the crossing directly north of it, have become popular photo-opportunity areas, despite the road still being a busy thoroughfare for traffic. The iconic Beatles album cover has been parodied many times over the years on the crossing. Dozens of people are involved in accidents each year re-enacting the iconic photo, including a number of deaths. Since 1969, there have been over a hundred deaths at the crossing (although many of these may not have been Beatles-enthusiasts, but merely passers-by)." - ousthouse, on 03/18/2009, -0/+9no way!!!!!!
- 4rp4n3t, on 03/18/2009, -0/+9Thinks you and about 3 million other idiots
- 8ight, on 03/18/2009, -0/+9I would love the opportunity to have that picture taken. I never will... but if it I was there, damn right I'd be doing that *****.

- jedinate, on 03/18/2009, -1/+9That's the equivalent of playing Stairway to Heaven in a guitar store...
- skenliv, on 03/18/2009, -0/+8You just made my day :)
- centran, on 03/18/2009, -0/+7It is the ruining of a picture.
Sometimes intentional by someone sneaking into the background or one of the people being photographed making a weird face.
Sometimes it is an accidental by someone walking into the shot or the photographer miss-framing the shot so the fat dude in the speedo is in the background. - QEDemon, on 03/17/2009, -1/+8At least they aren't zombie mimes.
- duli42, on 03/18/2009, -5/+12That is really depressing..
- reckonbeats, on 03/18/2009, -0/+7what about my awesome?
- doubleoh7, on 03/18/2009, -0/+7It almost makes one want to actually push the tower over so people will stop doing this.
- Samas11, on 03/18/2009, -1/+8I'm loving the song.
- TheInfinityZero, on 03/18/2009, -0/+6I think it's just how they're holding the camera.
- jasdf, on 03/18/2009, -0/+6It is a matter of perspective, I think this would confuse PhotoSynth.
