- spookyttws, on 01/04/2009, -0/+42"The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson," is one of the all time funniest Simpson episodes, but fox has greatly reduced it's rotation since 9/11.Because apparently a cartoon involving the Twin Towers is too much for American's to handle.
- Wakkyweed, on 01/04/2009, -0/+34Australian Man: You call that a knife? This is a knife.
Bart: That's not a knife, that's a spoon.
Australian Man: Alright, alright, you win. I see you've played knifey-spooney before. - CadillacAndy, on 01/03/2009, -1/+35Hate the slideshow but love the Simpsons...

- doobiebrother, on 01/04/2009, -1/+13American's what?
- ArchetypeRyan, on 01/04/2009, -1/+9Lame slideshow. The slides are buggy and slow and the only writing that accompanies that pictures is a summary of the episode, not an explanation of why it depicts a good travel destination.
#1. China
#2. Vegas
#3. Florida
#4. ... I give up, this is taking too damn long. - dohidied, on 01/04/2009, -0/+8"You got anything to drink in there?"

"Ewwwwww! I'll take the Crab Juice."
I really need to get the Season 9 DVD out and watch it again. - grahamvinyl, on 01/04/2009, -1/+8their to handle
- rjhomuth, on 01/04/2009, -0/+6Glitchy page or is it just me? Nonetheless, Simpsons ftw.

- Nephersir7, on 01/04/2009, -2/+7No mention of Delaware?
- tendonut, on 01/04/2009, -0/+5I want to visit a screen door factory!
- VyPR, on 01/04/2009, -0/+5No Knoxville?!
- user500, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4not to mention the dozens of cookies that come with each slide
- joshuaer, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4they pointed it out on a map in one episode, Oh wait some one got in the way!
- ryan83189, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4The worst part is, I don't think we even have a screen door factory. I have seen the whole state, and have never seen one. Googleing only returns that joke. We do however have the bridge featured in Wayne's World, until we can find a competent person to build its replacement.
- SaladCactusKing, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4I like digging these up against the barrage of buries just for ***** and giggles.
- crossmr, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4We're a little more objective than our southern neighbours..
- EggAndMuffin, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4just letting you know I went to watch this episode online after reading your comment.
it IS good :) - notoneofus, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4Matt Groening grew up in Oregon, and I heard him give a talk at a conference about the origins of the Simpsons. He said he used to watch "Father Knows Best" when he was a kid and always thought that the Springfield where it was set was Springfield, Oregon. Someday, he thought, he'd set a show in Springfield so other kids would think it was *their* Springfield. But, deep inside, he said, he wanted it to be Springfield, OR.
Also, many of the character names are named after streets in Portland. - protogenxl, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4"Uh, folks, we're experiencing some moderate Godzilla-related turbulence at this time, so I'm going to go ahead and ask you to put your seatbelts back on. When we get to 35 thousand feet, he usually does let go, so from there on out, all we have to worry about is Mothra, and, uh, we do have reports he's tied up with Gamera and Rodan at the present time. Thank you very much."
- FattyCorpuscle, on 01/04/2009, -0/+4Next stop, Crackton!
- Jeffler, on 01/04/2009, -2/+5Considering this is a Canadian site, I'm shocked Toronto was only #7.
- UndeadOverlord, on 01/04/2009, -1/+4Disappointed that the Italy trip wasn't on there
- Xviper78, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3"Welcome to Japan, folks. The local time is tomorrow."
Damn I love that episode. - chewy5000, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3Capital City anyone?
- fuckingusername, on 01/04/2009, -3/+6another power user submit!
- Nephersir7, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3For having traveled through Delaware, i think the biggest thing i saw was Johnny Janosik furniture (which have become a meme in my family)
- joshuaer, on 01/04/2009, -1/+4well my guess is you are the only one who does not watch them any more that still posts messages in posts about the simpsons.
- wellgroomednerd, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3I thought it was banned altogether.
- elizabethb221, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3I'll have a Shirley... No, a virgin... No, a children's... Oh, what the heck? You only live once. Give me a...white wine spritzer!
- Xihix, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3In the Behind the Laughter episode, they say Kentucky, though in some reruns they changed it to Missouri... And then Flanders in the movie says they border Ohio, Kentucky, New Mexico and Utah. Yeah, who knows.
- hello3u, on 01/05/2009, -0/+3Not at all Cydonian, not at all.
- Krayze, on 01/04/2009, -0/+3"Ah, I'm sick of doing Japanese stuff. In jail we had to be in this dumb Kabuki play, about the 47 Ronin and I wanted to be Yoshi but they made me Ori!"
- joshuaer, on 01/04/2009, -0/+2Classic i love that one.
- hello3u, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2A fan would have all the DVDs, books, CDs, Tapes, comics, game for all platforms, action figures, posters, stickers, buttons, cereal box, pajamas, t-shirts, inflatable dolls, ...
- CydonianKnight7, on 01/04/2009, -2/+4Is it sad that I knew all of them and the episodes just by looking at the pictures?
- tecratour, on 01/04/2009, -2/+4Does anybody know the state the Simpsons are supposed to be from? There is a ton of conflicting evidence, but in the episode where they go to Brazil Lisa says outright you can figure it out.
- hello3u, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2and not watermarks!
- DankNugzPlz, on 01/04/2009, -0/+2Bart vs. Australia is one of my favorite episodes, as is the NYC one. But the Simpsons got into the pattern of making them go on trips to everywhere it really got old fast.
Yeah they are a few good ones in there, but most of the travel episodes are meh. - dsmx, on 01/04/2009, -0/+2I'd like a tea please....
- stereosaurus, on 01/04/2009, -0/+2I always enjoyed 'So You've Settled for Branson', but probably not as funny if you aren't from Missouri (and thus, I can only assume, have never heard of Branson)
- elizabethb221, on 01/04/2009, -2/+3Obviously you aren't a true fan.
A true fan would have watched each season upwards of ten times, with or without the commentary. -
