- mpn401, on 03/25/2009, -0/+21Well, I was smart, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
- dwninjungleland, on 03/25/2009, -0/+18Scariest hotel I've ever been in was in northern Uganda. No haunting, but more the mosquitoes, no locks, and the knowledge that if i developed malaria in the middle of the night i'd straight up be *****. Scarier, in my opinion.
- lucy22, on 03/24/2009, -1/+14I would not enjoy staying in a haunted hotel. I do not think I would relax. The bad vibes etc...
- Anand999, on 03/25/2009, -0/+12I don't know about the article but that H.H. Holmes guy mentioned in the last entry was one crazy mofo...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._H._Holmes
Someone needs to make a movie about the guy. - DirtyVicar, on 03/25/2009, -0/+10Let me correct that for you: Top 5 hotels boosted with spooky legends invented by the proprietors, plus this fluff piece boosted with anecdotes presented here and there as fact.
- JeremyK684, on 03/25/2009, -0/+8Screw that stuff, I'd much rather go to the Marriott :)

< Previous - Gee1004, on 03/25/2009, -0/+7Any place is scarry when you're alone. I work in a big building 3rd shift. Taking a dump in the bathroom in an empty building, I hear noises
- CanUTube, on 03/25/2009, -2/+8"A female guest reported being pulled from her bed by a hand and dragged across the room while she kicked and screamed."
Wow, Digg. Really? - WhoDoneIt, on 03/25/2009, -0/+6I blame it on PMS (Poltergeist Manifestation Syndrome)
- oyflaaaayvin, on 03/25/2009, -0/+6Maybe placing a bible over your penis will protect you?
- lewystud, on 03/25/2009, -0/+6brings back memories of that old tv show where they leave people in "haunted" places overnight and film them geeking out
- tacotomato, on 03/25/2009, -1/+6Once I stayed in this place which I think was haunted. It was called "Holiday Inn." Scared the crap out of me.
- SilverBack101, on 03/25/2009, -0/+5Did you get a Continental Breakfast? Because man...Holiday Inn's Eggs, Buttered Toast with Jam and fresh Orange Juice was killer.
*I am in no way affiliated with Holiday Inn...I just appreciate a good breakfast. - Petrarch1603, on 03/24/2009, -0/+5Timberline lodge is a cool place, but its much smaller than the hotel in the Shining.
- angel.wardriver, on 03/24/2009, -0/+5The Stanley is a creepy place when the timing is just "right."
- varble, on 03/25/2009, -1/+5multiple pages = buried and unread
- 2of8, on 03/25/2009, -1/+5Yeah. I'd be more scared of a proved medical illness than some stories of gobblidygook.
- inactive, on 03/25/2009, -0/+4Usually I agree but this one had a good bit of info on each so, I let it slip.
- troyallen069, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3What they need to do is put a live webcam on the internet
- hernam19, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3staying at haunted hotel wouldnt work out for me, i dont like to be interrupted while taking a *****
- spiffza, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3I hate lists where you have one item on a single page and have to click next a million times.
- bytor4232, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3Well played sir, digg for you!
- 1x253, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2I read The Shining, after having seen the movie, in the middle of Looney Tunes, Louisiana in BFE Parrish with the plot beginning to crescendo at about 11:30pm and nobody was around. I've watched scary movies all my life, I grew up watching Dracula, etc, but I'll be son-of-a-bitch if I didn't have to slam the book shut and walk around until I could find somebody to talk to. That book flipped me out. Kubrick did a MUCH better job than King on the flick.
- 33PercentGod, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2That's usually how it works. Every new hotel is listed in it's own page and organized with photos and some paragraphs. Then, when you're done reading about that one,you hit next.
Oh wait, you don't want to actually read any of them, you want to scroll as fast as you can and just see the names of the 5 places, nothing actually about them.
***** off. - Invader001, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2I defecated numerous amounts of rectangular-shaped feces blocks.
- d3n13d, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2SHOOT IT SHOOT IT!
- palmer, on 03/25/2009, -1/+3Lame pictures, but seriously lame for failing to mention that the #1 entry is featured in a best-selling book, Devil in the White City.
- inactive, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2Mirror?
Boo - suzanek, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2I have good time with Marriott in the past.
- f54280, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2Yes. That would be a good idea:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0358500/
(slightly sarcastic) - Mr.Mayonaise, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1That's because only a few exterior shots were actually Timberline lodge in Oregon. The interior and some exterior shots were actually recreations (and modifications) of Timberline lodge on a studio set in England.
- kevro, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2To study evil, is to be studied by evil. I wouldn't read up on him...too much.
- kevro, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2No because Catholics don't believe in condoms.
- 1x253, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1There pay-for-porn selection is decent if a bit predictable. Housekeeping is, uh, willing to please.
- 1x253, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1I'd feel more secure in crack motel.
- 1x253, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2Nobody would ever go to the trouble:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5166091386 ... - kgerm, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2MOM?
we already had this "talk" do we need to have it again? - 1x253, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1@ kgerm
Son? Is that you?! I told you: as soon as Tyrone saves enough money from prostituting me and selling crack in the school yard we're going to get married and live in the Bahamas! He promised me that none of his other bitches mean anything to him; he loves ME!! I'm a grown woman and I can make MY OWN decisions!!
Oh, what? You're gonna use your big fancy $10 words like dignity and respect?! HA!! Stop trying to destroy my life; Tyrone LOVES me!!!! You're just like your father!! - kgerm, on 03/25/2009, -1/+2was i the only one that read "TOP 5 HOLES"
- AudreyBrown, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1I LOVE hotels and films set in hotels especially! So I LOVED this article!
