    I prefer living in small cities cause its calm and charming. That doesnt mean I dont like big cities. Just dont want to live there.

There is so much to see and do in Thailand..Thai's are some of the most down to earth people you can meet and its such a stunning country / culture to see...but tell me where do you get your info about it being the number one destination of pedophiles around the world? I would like to see some facts as thats quite a statement to make against a country. Thailand gets a real bad press from its sex industry, but from what i have read they have more protection in place for sex workers then most western countries where its illegal and underground. Lets not forget that when Gary Glitter tired to go there they sent him on his way on the first plane and had him under constant escort.

    As for Sin Cities, Juarez and Tijuana, Mexico need to be on there. Most all the drugs that come into the states come through those two cities and via their drug cartels. Several hundred women have gone missing, dozens of bodies are being found without heads, the gangs are shooting in the streets, and the police are in on it. (How much sin do you need? They got hookers, too.)

    And the age of consent in Thailand is 15/18. ( http://www.avert.org/aofconsent.htm )
    That would mean that in the eyes of the law there is a lot of pedophillia going on over there.
    And child prostitutes , while illegal, are simply tolerated over there. Nothing more, nothing less.

    That said, while Thailand is one of the top destinations for child sex tourism, from some recent research I read that the majority of child pornography is still made in the US.
