- mazer23, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1maybe she shoulder paid a little more attention to what plane she was getting on...
- cruiseranne, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1Fascinating........but it's HER job to get on the right plane!
- symbolistpoetry, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0I have to say, the people at Jet Blue have been exceptionally gracious on all my flights, so she must have come across some "bad eggs," though it does help to get on the right plane. I assume nothing these days at airports, except harassment and humiliation,so I make it a point to double-check at every stage.
- leocha, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Can it really be the airline's fault if you get on the wrong plane?
I've done it before and happily sitting in my spot when someone else wanted my seat and we compared boarding passes. Glad we weren't off the ground, otherwise my day would have been ruined. - sawcy, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0While I am always one for giving the customer the benefit of the doubt, in this case, clearly JetBlue did go above and beyond by putting her up in a hotel and then returning her to her proper destination the next day. Confusing or not, it was her responsibility to make sure she was on the right flight, and not the other way around. Just my $0.02.
- irishxpride, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0whiny precious snowflake too stupid to make sure she was on the right plane. News at 11...
- globetrots, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0She screwed up and the airline screwed up. They compensated her fairly for their mistakes, though it certainly is crazy this could happen in today's security-obsessed U.S. airline environment.
- CulCol, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0If this is the worst travel experience Wendy has ever had, she ought consider that she has had a travel life of clear sailing in calm waters.
Re Globetrots' comment, it points up that despite all of America's security obsession, "things happen" that in theory should not. To put that obsession into perspective, see http://travel-babel.blogspot.com/2008/06/internati ... -- and read the comments too. - CulCol, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0If this is the worst travel experience Wendy has ever had, she ought consider that she has had a travel life of clear sailing in calm waters.
