- no2gates, on 11/24/2008, -5/+54Too bad there's nobody who has the money to go on a cruise anymore.
- slvrbullet87, on 11/25/2008, -3/+40Dont worry a bit the company that made it said it was unsinkable
- czeus, on 11/24/2008, -6/+41For some reason, big ships always seem to find big objects to hit ...
Just saying - angryfirelord, on 11/25/2008, -3/+38Oh, the fools! If only they built it with six thousand and one hulls! When will they learn?
- Immune, on 11/25/2008, -4/+34Obligatory comment about it being the Titanic.
- jellylube13, on 11/24/2008, -1/+25Rename it the Orca II and take it after Jaws... Not gonna find a bigger boat.
- wolfing, on 11/25/2008, -0/+23they should put some ninjas in there in case the somali pirates board it
- Voxxov, on 11/25/2008, -0/+21Don't worry, I'm sure AIG will rent it out for a corporate retreat or something.
- Xionn, on 11/25/2008, -0/+18I was curious about the size difference between this ship and the titanic.. so I looked it up on wikipedia and made a picture. each pixel equals a foot, so it's to scale.

- AtomicTheory, on 11/25/2008, -1/+12Always? ....or just once, almost a century ago?
- iadiggs10, on 11/25/2008, -0/+8Wow! Just checked the numbers: that ship is basically both longer and taller than any of the largest super-carriers ever built by a navy. Crazy!
- VeritasAequitas, on 11/25/2008, -0/+7RIGHT AHEAD!!!!
- JanK1, on 11/25/2008, -3/+10ICEBERG!!!
- petster, on 11/25/2008, -0/+7Dugg for Finnish engineering.
- kasperu, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7Read about this boat 10-20 years ago in some science magazin, thought it was finished a decade ago, they really took some time. But it's more a floating city then a ship.
- FearisFailure, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7I remember back in 2000 I sailed on the Majesty of The Seas on Royal Caribbean and it was the biggest ship at the time but this is amazing!
- lillylibertine, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7Articles like these make me miss watching The Love Boat...
:(

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulbous_bow - Tinja, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6Keep in mind that work began on this ship YEARS ago. It's not like they thought it up over a BBQ this past summer.
- inactive, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7The captain of this ship must have a lot to compensate for.
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 11/25/2008, -1/+6She's a beautiful ship, all right. Shapely, seductive. I'm going to sail her brains out.
- inigomntoya, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5For pissin...
Well, that and making baby ocean liners... - Ockniel, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5boat
- svendm, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5That ship serves as a nice reminder how anyone can make up gigantic schemes. It also serves as an example that actually building and financing a gigantic ship, as well as making it profitable, is something very difficult.
- mongrel, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5Where are the lifeboats in that impression?
- EarlOfLade, on 11/25/2008, -1/+6What? It's not like the current economic chaos is a surprise? It's been glaringly obvious for years that it would come, so if you have problems now, it's probably because you paid no attention to those who warned you.
- AbsurdWreckage, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5*Rings little bell*
- dalewj, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5I have been on all the Big Royal Caribbean ships up to now, usually on the first year of them coming on line. Its amazing the size of a ship now, you have to give your self 10 mins to get from oneside to the other. This ship is amazing mostly because of its open areas aiming straight up and to the back. should be an interesteng week when i find time to try it.
- gweedo767, on 11/25/2008, -1/+6Everytime a huge ship gets built a Somalian Pirate gets his wings...ARGGGGGGG
- cyrusuncc, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4It can hold 6,000 passengers! Too bad it's like this:

- Novalight, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4What's the big penis looking thing for on the bottom of the bow?
- jehan60188, on 11/25/2008, -2/+6who says we're in an economic crisis?!
- lxcid, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4So big it's guaranteed to not miss an iceberg.
- jordanlgta, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4Wish I could have dugg you twice.
- Crozz, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4So the ship will make smaller waves
- FlyingPhotog, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4What an ignorant comment, You can take a week-long cruise for roughly $100 bucks a day. That includes food, room, entertainment, 3-4 destinations and a staff of over 2,000 to pick up after you.
- AtomicTheory, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4Hell, did anybody else see the dick on that thing? First and second pics... like a giant blue dildo on the front of that bastard!
- FlyingPhotog, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4You've obviously never cruised.
- FlyingPhotog, on 11/25/2008, -1/+4Concept ship doesn't count.
- portis, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3*Ponders how having sex with Kate Winslett will be like*
- cyrusuncc, on 11/25/2008, -1/+4Your modesty is astounding. Good job
- FlyingPhotog, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3They have "tender boats" that take you ashore if the port isn't large enough.
- daridave, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3Thank you. I was also very curious about it. Wow, that thing is huge...
- diceau, on 11/25/2008, -1/+4Only seen one Futurama episode?
Maybe you should watch two. - inigomntoya, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3*Starts arranging chairs*
- inigomntoya, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3The only life boats needed are for the Captain, crew, and the rich people. She's unsinkable, after all...
- disappointment, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3If governments would allow civilian-powered nuclear ships, the amount of pollution for propulsion and generation wouldn't be so large.
