- mitch37, on 06/23/2008, -12/+170Heres an idea: Build cites on land.
- inactive, on 06/23/2008, -2/+149There are no life boats in that artists impression.
- ssj2119, on 06/23/2008, -13/+95ICEBERG STRAIGHT AHEAD!... wait, *****, global warming.
- J0415, on 06/23/2008, -11/+88Digg me up if you agree there are a lot of crappy comments on this article (yes, including this one).
- cvindustries, on 06/23/2008, -1/+68That's because it's so big, you can jump onto land from one of the decks at any given moment. Plus it really doesn't "sail", it just sort of drags along the bottom of the sea.
- fdiskit, on 06/23/2008, -2/+69I think you're gonna need a bigger boat
RIP Roy Scheider - jitjit, on 06/23/2008, -6/+72Thats whats she said...
Sorry couldn't resist - t3rmv3locity, on 06/22/2008, -8/+71That thing is ***** huge!
- dinot, on 06/23/2008, -2/+51Even Leonardo DiCaprio himself could not act on this ship!
Kate Winslet boobies. - groo68, on 06/23/2008, -0/+48yeah, that's original.
- sotose, on 06/23/2008, -2/+47Even God himself could not sink this ship!
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 06/23/2008, -17/+57Comments ***** suck yet again.
- patleeman, on 06/23/2008, -0/+38He was jibbing at the Titanic...
- ChileanGoD, on 06/23/2008, -0/+37Lets build them on air then.
- 3amboo, on 06/23/2008, -1/+32of course its unsinkable... it'll touch the Caribbean sea floor!
- kinneys, on 06/23/2008, -2/+33If you build it, they will drown.
- inactive, on 06/23/2008, -2/+22It's not about the size of the boat... it's about the motion in the ocean.
- MudMan69, on 06/23/2008, -0/+19Er... Inflatable life rafts on cruise ships are only used as a last resort or for the crew. Lifeboats are clearly visible on most modern cruise ships.
- Bersy, on 06/23/2008, -2/+19It probably comes with iceberg vaporizing laserbeams.
- geekchic, on 06/23/2008, -2/+18It looks like nothing more than a giant shopping mall that floats.
I prefer the ships where you actually cruise around and visit places that are interesting - I can save the shopping for when I get home again. - MrBison, on 06/23/2008, -1/+17...These Roya lCarribean ships are awesome i have been on the biggest and second biggest that you can go on now....A holiday you never get bored on
- hasslinthehoff, on 06/23/2008, -2/+18Good taste just threw itself overboard.
- Bersy, on 06/23/2008, -2/+18It's basically a floating America. Shopping malls, casinos, theaters, and when you're on deck you probably can't tell that it's actually a ship rather than a pier cause you can't see to the ends of the thing. Its only purpose is to suck you dry of your cash and get you pissed off at the hordes of annoying people that you can't escape from, I can't see how anything like this could be considered a "vacation".
- NSMike, on 06/23/2008, -0/+15Indeed. It's like, "Let's get on a boat so huge that we can barely tell we're on the ocean!"
I thought part of the allure of a cruise was getting away from land for a while? - bosssmiley, on 06/23/2008, -0/+15Economies of scale. The amount of fuel required to move a ship doesn't increase in the same proportions as its size.
- failedpimp, on 06/23/2008, -0/+14Electric bugaloo
- Rudegar, on 06/23/2008, -15/+28guess it's good that global warming resulted in icebergs not being what they used to be
- MCA2142, on 06/23/2008, -0/+12Can we also digg if we're horny?
- elperegrino, on 06/23/2008, -4/+16what a ***** brilliant comment.
- leakus, on 06/23/2008, -0/+12I rather have other people go on vacation on a swimming shopping mall, than hang out in my vacation spots.
- inactive, on 06/23/2008, -2/+14What do you expect from a bunch of vegans whose idea of fun is to dress up as emos.
- RideTi, on 06/23/2008, -0/+11Remeber the Royal Carribean "Lust for Life" commercials that show people having lots of fun on the off-ship excursions? They're BS 'cause they don't show how 800 other people from your ship are trying to do the same thing as you in the few hours that the ship is anchored. I can't imagine how crowded your snorkeling adventure would be when you leave this monster.
- shortyjacobs, on 06/23/2008, -0/+11I liked the cut of his jib.
- groo68, on 06/23/2008, -0/+11you can probably rent a simple boat to cruise around the ships indoor lake.
- KingGorilla, on 06/23/2008, -2/+13The artists has trouble drawing lifeboats
- cvindustries, on 06/23/2008, -0/+10The Royal Carribean website video: (very annoying music)
http://oasisoftheseas.com/CentralPark.php - kjuto, on 06/23/2008, -0/+10well, there is a life boat store in the shopping mall
- dinot, on 06/23/2008, -1/+11I cam here for the Titanic references and must admit, I'm sorely disappointed in all of you.
- jgzman, on 06/23/2008, -0/+10Sometimes, the tried-and-true method is best. For example, I am quite fond of my closed circulatory system, and Oxy-Nitro atmosphere.
- noahhoward, on 06/23/2008, -0/+10I'm going to venture a guess that liquid propane is involved here but still... I'd err on the side of millions of gallons seeing as the 65' boat I work on takes 1700.
Nevermind, she's going to run 8 V12 Diesels according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Oasis_of_the_Seas) - JT114881, on 06/23/2008, -3/+12Thats what she said
- ObamaWins08, on 06/23/2008, -4/+13Uh-oh, guys, it's a Decepticon.
(Check out the Fifth Pic Down, look at the top of the amphitheater). - MrBison, on 06/23/2008, -0/+9wrong
- Locke23, on 06/23/2008, -0/+9Don't worry, haven't you heard it's unsinkable?
- stelth, on 06/23/2008, -0/+9Somewhere on that construction yard, Discovery Channel is there with a camera...
- Larken, on 06/23/2008, -3/+12dugg for boobies.
- SteelChicken, on 06/23/2008, -1/+10How about you do what you want and let everyone else do the same on their vacations?
- wonderbriefs, on 06/23/2008, -4/+13Am I the only one that thinks this thing is just obnoxious?
- aladrin, on 06/23/2008, -2/+11There are plenty of ships that do that. Why would we need another? This one is for people who want something else from their cruise.
