- Cloned, on 04/21/2009, -0/+4I only live a couple hours away from this place, yet I've never been there. A couple of my friends have went and said it is absolutely beautiful. If you ever go make sure you take a tour of the northern canyon (as opposed to southern), I hear it is a lot better.

You'd best arrange it ahead of time, as the tours fill up. Also, the normal tours don't give you enough time to stop, set up a tripod, and take photos, so if that's what you want to do they offer a special photo tour which goes to both canyons and gives you plenty of time to get good shots with long exposures. Also, if you don't want to get sand in your tripod, they rent tripods...

- AZExile, on 04/21/2009, -0/+2The best way to see it is by small boat or jetski - you don't get some of the same twists, but you can boat back a few miles into the canyon, and get some amazingly breathtaking views. It isn't a very far drive from the marina either...
