Sick Boy: It's really nice, Tommy. Can we go home now?
Tommy: It's fresh air.
Sick Boy: Look, Tommy, we know you're getting a hard time off Lizzy, but there's no need to take it out on us.
(Trainspotting) - ScottMcIntyre, on 09/23/2008, -1/+49I'd be biased if I said this is a fantastic find- being as I'm from Scotland! But the images are truly stunning. I've been to a few of the places and I'd recommend that, if you ever get the chance, you should think about visiting. A warm welcome awaits you ;-) The photo of Tobermory in Mull is great- this is where all the houses on the shorefront are multicolored!

- PintOfGuinness, on 09/23/2008, -1/+12Yeah just go to Dundee, did you know its known as the 'City of Discovery'? I can vouch for that as I'm here over 10 years and I'm still lookin for something to do.
- Mootabolife, on 09/23/2008, -1/+12No, you can climb these mountains.
- Dynamoo, on 09/23/2008, -0/+10Yes, definitely needs more rain. Rain and midges. Actually, these places are also beautiful in the rain.. you could argue that they are MORE beautiful when nature is being just as rugged as the landscape.
- drunkenoaf, on 09/23/2008, -0/+10Everyone called MacDonald hates you,,, : )

- RedRummy, on 09/23/2008, -2/+9Photoshop!!! they don't get sun in the Highlands... and where's the rain?
- warriorscot, on 09/23/2008, -0/+7Edinburgh not modern? It has old buildings its still very very modern both in culture and in its architecture, personally modern is over rated give me the old buildings any day and they are usually very nice inside. If I could only live in one city in the world it would be Edinburgh every time it is the perfect City.
- xbytes, on 09/23/2008, -0/+6I was swimming up in Ardnamurchan during first week of September I think the weather in the western isles was best in UK this year!
- krytz86, on 09/23/2008, -1/+7Agreed on both counts. Dundee especially, what a hole.
- badbadman2, on 09/23/2008, -0/+6Lochinver is one of the hidden gems of the world. Really magical place. Now you have gone and dugg it. Secret is out.
- bicyclethief, on 09/23/2008, -0/+6I've been to Scotland once. Traveled through to the small island of Iona. Gorgeous country.
I have to say that the Scots are some of the friendliest people I've ever met abroad.
On a train to the coast, a raucous group of drunk Scots got the entire cabin (to the chagrin of the ticketmaster) to join in on singing bar songs. - LordMaul, on 09/23/2008, -5/+11HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE WE ARRRRE

- orlyfactor, on 09/23/2008, -0/+5I love Sean Connery because he knows how to treat women. With a backhand.
- thcobbs, on 09/23/2008, -0/+4After seeing these, I want a pint of Guinness and a red-haired lassie on my lap... Is that too much for a guy to ask?
- cloudberries, on 09/23/2008, -1/+5Ha! As if... My upstairs neighbour reminds me of George Galloway. And he's almost as much of a tit.
And Sean Connery left these hallowed shores years ago to chase fame and fortune in the states -
