- Glo0, on 10/16/2008, -0/+1no wonder the ***** world thinks where all ***** toffs. All i need is a book, my htc and wind up charger & maybe a change of clothes (for anything longer than 3 days)
- Mjuboy, on 10/16/2008, -0/+1I would hardly call those 'little' luxuries of travel.

My favorite travel things:
- Enormous soaking tubs. I'm rather tall and don't fit in normal tubs
- Corner hotel rooms in big cities. One of my favorite rooms was a corner room in the Flatotel in NYC, it was *huge* and had a great view all the way down 52nd to the Hudson. They didn't even charge more 'cause it was the only room they had left and I was booked through a business travel service.
- Find a good, small restaurant to go to the first night you're there. It's fun going to sleep while thinking that, in a day, you'll be eating hundreds/thousands of miles away in a specific spot. Call up and make reservations even if you don't need them, it makes the host happy when they see out of town people visiting their restaurant, and they'll usually want to know about your trip and offer advice on what to do while you're there. - glinsvad, on 10/16/2008, -0/+1Dugg for IKELITE underwater camera housings
