This place looks pretty damn nice in comparison - Kral, on 10/24/2008, -3/+41"Don't bring your work home with you" is a good rule to live by, especially if you're a mortician.
- chililili, on 10/24/2008, -8/+44So thought I'd comment here to guide you ignorant americans. Those are not suburban houses. They are mass produced government sponsored houses that are designed for lower middle income people. You can get one of these for a down payment of around 500 dollars and they end up costing I believe something like 6-7 thousand dollars. They are designed to be the same so they can be made cheap and can be sold cheap so that people have an opportunity ot own a house. And these houses last better and far longer than your average american house because we use actual concrete and stone and not crappy wood. But this is no suburbia, the suburbs is a purely american invention and we don't have that here in mexico here we have fenced off areas for the rich people were no one poor can come in.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=I ... - PepeGSay, on 10/24/2008, -1/+11You don't have suburbs? That entire area in the picture doesn't look urban. Doesn't look rural either. Does everyone in mexico either live in the city or in the country? Is this area outside a city? Is it residential? Hmm.. sounds like a suburb.
- harvinator24, on 10/24/2008, -4/+14Wow aren't you just an *****.
- marv0, on 10/24/2008, -2/+11My girlfriend is half Mexican, and she wouldn't be offended. Up here in Washington state, 90% of landscaping companies are run by Hispanic people.
