- Matt2727, on 12/25/2008, -3/+71oh man that makes me want to play sim city
- echan, on 12/25/2008, -9/+61HONG KONG IS THE *****
- inactive, on 12/25/2008, -0/+46Impressive looking city. I wish I had the funds/means to travel around and see places like this.
- 01001001, on 12/25/2008, -3/+44Been there, seen it in person from Victoria Peak.....
Hands down -- Most spectacular skyline in the world (coming from a New Yorker). - vsujohn2, on 12/25/2008, -0/+31Yeh because its in the center of the picture and its the tallest....

- amasiancrasian, on 12/26/2008, -2/+27You do realize that Hong Kong was "leased" to the United Kingdom after forcing opium on the Chinese at gunpoint. The Brits were the original drug lords.
- mrwright613, on 12/25/2008, -0/+23well yeah because it was the only thing loaded for a good half hour
- ethanw, on 12/25/2008, -2/+22I've spent several years in Hong Kong and ended up marrying a local gal... best thing in my life :-)
As for Hong Kong I love it... My son was there at 6 months old and the 16 hours flight ain't easy.... My wife got so many relatives that we need to go there almost every year for a wedding....Can't complaint and I love the shopping in Mongkok and other places.... And the food is fabulous. Only good words about this place and I was a bit worry about going back to communist China.... As I can see no negative impact from that reunion with China... Let's hope for the best..... - navk2005, on 12/25/2008, -4/+22Any minute now, there's going to be an explosion and a plane with a V-hook connected to a rope connected to Batman and some short Chinese wanna-be gangster.
- luke374, on 12/25/2008, -3/+21Your username appropriately matches the stupidity level of your comment.
- ThatEvilGuy, on 12/25/2008, -0/+15I must visit that place, it's been on my todo list for a long time now.
I don't why, maybe I watched too many hong kong movies and mangas/animes but that place that spot is so I don't know, mystical to me, I love the high rise buildings and watching over them from a mountain and all the scenary, I can't describe it, but I get a very special feeling of familiarity and cosiness looking at it.

I didn't even know it was called Victoria Peak, thanks guys for info! - kewlz, on 12/25/2008, -2/+16Dugg for non HDR. Oh and the spectacular skyline!
- thirty6chambers, on 12/25/2008, -1/+15too bad it's rarely ever that clear.
- MaxxusFlamus, on 12/26/2008, -0/+14dugg for knowing history.
- BullHunter, on 12/25/2008, -4/+17Great spot. I just came back from there a few weeks ago. I'll be back!
- rovsky, on 12/25/2008, -1/+13you should see the skyline when they sync it to music...pretty ridic lazer light show.
- coasteraddict, on 12/25/2008, -1/+12Beautiful city, great picture, view.
- MaxxusFlamus, on 12/26/2008, -0/+10China is not made up of purely impoverished areas....Shanghai looks pretty much like this as well.
Hong Kong has impoverished areas as bad as China.
Just like how NYC has Time Square- and some really ***** assed areas brimming with poverty. - EASwanson, on 12/25/2008, -0/+10Hong Kong is a very beautiful place... I have been there several times starting from a very young age. This picture was taken from Victoria's Peak.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Peak - zaferk, on 12/25/2008, -1/+10Whats the buildings name?
- asiarock, on 12/25/2008, -5/+14I know I'm biased, but Hong Kong has the best skyline in the world. So great to see HK on the frontpage :)
- harrydabassist, on 12/25/2008, -1/+10I saw this picture a couple of months ago and decided to study abroad there next year.
- Tanze, on 12/26/2008, -0/+8yeah, i got a boner for cities too.
- inactive, on 12/25/2008, -2/+10Batman comics are published by DC not Marvel
- duggtodeath, on 12/25/2008, -3/+11Breath-taking!
- maja742, on 12/25/2008, -3/+11just like i remember it, from the Dark Knight that is.
- smaisch, on 12/26/2008, -1/+9Wow. No and just completely tasteless.
- zaferk, on 12/25/2008, -2/+10well hong kong is not really chinese per se, but close enough.
- seldon452, on 12/26/2008, -0/+7Your comment makes me want to play sim city.
- vatd112, on 12/26/2008, -0/+7Setting of GTA V??

- iSinned, on 12/25/2008, -0/+7what would make a great left 4 dead map?
- MikalYungHistri, on 12/25/2008, -0/+7Surprisingly, just as cool.
- MooreWV, on 12/25/2008, -0/+72IFC.

They had a hard time getting tenants to fill the building up though, as it looks similar to the World Trade Centers (with slightly curved sides). - waxenpi, on 12/26/2008, -4/+11eat your heart out, new york
- farfromhere, on 12/26/2008, -0/+6Probably.
- WiretapStudios, on 12/26/2008, -1/+7Presenting a Sarah Palin supporter ladies and gentlemen, live and in the flesh...
- Elishaa, on 12/25/2008, -5/+11Really it is a good place....
- wubblie, on 12/26/2008, -0/+6Not sure if this is related, but I just read that Hong Kong has the highest average IQ of any nation (at 107). That's how you get a city that looks like that.
- Enche, on 12/25/2008, -3/+9I want a camera like that one!
- BotchaMcCoola, on 12/26/2008, -0/+5I have lived in HK and will always love it. The USA could be just as prosperous too if we had their 15% income tax rate. I don't think our politicians want many to know about this though.
- scyphozoa, on 12/26/2008, -0/+5gorgeous, makes me want to live there. this is now my desktop!
- ElectricNZ, on 12/26/2008, -0/+5Um.. I was born in Hong Kong. Yes, Hong Kong is an international hub in Asia, but "a bit" of Chinese values is a ridiculous understatement. Chinese traditions and values in Hong Kong are as prominent as any major city in China.
- junkneo, on 12/25/2008, -1/+6At last, a panoramic view that did not suck.
- Planetman, on 12/25/2008, -0/+5who can find the missing building in that picture?
there really is one...not toooo hard to find - gottadiggit, on 12/26/2008, -0/+5I guess that makes you a Big Dick.
- MrWolf, on 12/26/2008, -1/+5The picture is on par with the stunning IMAX sequence from TDK's bluray
