5) make a goal of traveling for a week internationally every 2 years

I wish that he'd cut some of the postcards and such though. Without seeing part of the real structure along with the item, it loses it's effect.

The government should honestly step in and give us a tax credit for overseas travel and exploration so we're not confined to just American values and beliefs.

PopPhoto covered it a few years back, Flickr's put it on their blog as well. It's a very clever project, one with some originality that a lot of people have been taking inspiration from. Good stuff indeed.
