- lukas88, on 03/05/2008, -6/+144Well you should have thought of that before you became european.
- will2000, on 03/05/2008, -6/+138funny thing is, that actually is what i noticed first...
- otis12, on 03/05/2008, -6/+102It sucks to be European, having to pay about 1.40 Euros a liter, or $8.00 a gallon.
- HomelessDepot, on 03/05/2008, -3/+89Hah, I think this one's funnier than most of the others I've seen, and a bit smarter too.
- thrikulam, on 03/05/2008, -8/+935. post this same exact list

7. more profit. - Barnolde, on 03/05/2008, -2/+74I remember like 6 years ago driving south, we stopped in SC or GA for gas and it was 89 cents. I recently told my friends about this who refused to believe it. ***** you $3+ gas!
- SemiSarcastic, on 03/05/2008, -3/+61"Yeah, ever since we lowered our prices to 1.59 per gallon we've gotten really go- HOLY *****!!!"
- itsbob, on 03/05/2008, -1/+55Photoshopped, Gas couldn't have been that cheap...
- daftie, on 03/05/2008, -0/+51I see airplanes parked at the local Shell all the time too... makes the lines so loooong.
- TheKrillr, on 03/05/2008, -0/+47wtf? new kind of bot?
- Nidy1, on 03/05/2008, -0/+46Did you stop to get gas?
- AriaStar, on 03/05/2008, -3/+49Remember when it hit a buck fifty and we were all outraged? How the hell could gas be a buck fifty?! And now finding it under $3 (Silicon Valley/Bay Area here) just doesn't happen.
- 89vision, on 03/05/2008, -1/+39mostly taxes
- NOFXY, on 03/05/2008, -0/+38can i have some crystals so i can go back in time?
- dotuplink, on 03/05/2008, -2/+39I was headed to frys electronics (This crash was right next to it), I saw the aftermath of the crash about 30 mins after it happened. Nobody died, and the person in that car and her child were fine.
- RickyHo, on 03/05/2008, -1/+32Well today after Shell burned me at $3/gal I got a free yellow cloth.... yay?
- camino262, on 03/05/2008, -0/+29Gas was .89 a gallon when I started to drive in 1995. I could barely afford to fill up then with my minimum wage job at the auto parts store. I feel sorry for those making minimum wage today, that is why no matter what restaurant I go to I always tip at least whatever the price of a gallon of gas is, even If my bill is $5.
- thatsmyaibo, on 03/05/2008, -2/+31I wish. It's almost $4/gallon here.
- BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -1/+28I remember a station here selling for 70 cents a gallon at some point around 1999. Back then the only alterations in price were abrupt drops.
- ElBeh, on 03/05/2008, -2/+28!
- Onyxblaze, on 03/05/2008, -2/+28Ok... wtfs you are spamming a google.com link... it is popular enough.
- NightVortez, on 03/05/2008, -2/+28Incidentally the prices have stayed about the same in gold.
- daftie, on 03/05/2008, -1/+25ADHD bot?
- digginaround, on 03/05/2008, -1/+24That's nothing...if you watch Die Hard...no, when you watch Die Hard, there's a bit where you can see that gas down the way from Nakatomi is something like $0.79 a gallon...I had to pause to absorb it all. At this point, I'm convinced it was a good job on the part of the special effects crew. (Seriously, seventy nine cents? Who'd believe that? Nice try, guys.)
- Cornloaf, on 03/05/2008, -0/+23Actually it was March 5, 2000.

- tablelegs, on 03/05/2008, -2/+22Hey everyone, lets pretend that everybody gives a ***** how much we pay for gas wherever we live?
- physco827, on 03/05/2008, -0/+20lets not forget rocko's modern life now. all those shows were phenomenal but i do believe that rocko should be in that bunch. oh and watching that while eating the best snack ever, dunkaroos.
- Akraz, on 03/05/2008, -4/+24its $1.06/litre here in Canada....
- mrASSMAN, on 03/05/2008, -0/+20Yes I know.. that's my point. The dollar has dropped so rapidly in relation to the euro that their gas prices will appear to rise in the context of our currency even when they actually aren't paying any more than they did the week before.. I'm not saying their gas isn't more expensive, I'm just saying it's exaggerated a bit due to the circumstances.
- bmh67wa, on 03/05/2008, -0/+20My father owned a gas station when I was a wee tyke back in the early 70's (before the big panic/gas crunch era) and I remember that Regular was 29 cents a gallon and Supreme (there was no unleaded yet) was like 36 cents or so. This was when you got your oil checked, windows washed, air checked in the tires, and someone else pumped for you. Talk about the changing times!
- Sagags, on 03/05/2008, -3/+23I think some of you are missing the point
- benplaut, on 03/05/2008, -1/+21How'd you do it without the ???
- brownspank, on 03/05/2008, -0/+19Really? How kind and considerate of Who.
- Dylson, on 03/05/2008, -1/+20?
- Ajajadude, on 03/05/2008, -0/+18Think that's something? Watch Die Hard. The part where the cop is leaving the gas station after buying his Twinkies and looks back at the building he's about to head off to makes me cry...those prices are so low, and it's in LA!
- carve, on 03/05/2008, -0/+16Yeah...and I'll bet people were bitching about the expensive gas at the time, too.
- slayerab, on 03/05/2008, -0/+16Or when India and China starts demanding more cars?
- elislider, on 03/05/2008, -1/+17I only just turned 20 and i remember when it was about 90 cents a gallon. cost my mom about $14 to fill up her subaru
- daRoach, on 03/05/2008, -0/+16Why were you thinking about gas prices when you were in the 6th grade?
- PixelMagic, on 03/05/2008, -0/+15Pyromaniac, I assume.
- MyDiggIsBig, on 03/05/2008, -1/+16$4.09 here in Santa Barbara. I don't know anywhere more expensive than this ***** sucking area
