- Nayamina, on 09/10/2008, -3/+41Losing luggage and asking for millions is crazy.
Losing a body then have it arrive late and having to subject a husband to the rotted corpse of his dearly departed? I say give him the money! I can only imagine what it would be like to see a loved one in a state of decomposition. - chrisinsocalif, on 09/10/2008, -0/+37Lose* (for the 3rd time)
- idarkiswordi, on 09/10/2008, -0/+33My step dad is a mortician and surprisingly, this isn't a rare occurrence that a coffin gets unnecessarily shipped around a little. They once had a body make it into four separate flights and four states before it was tracked down several days later. They usually account for this possibility when having to transport bodies on planes now. Regardless, six days seems unfounded. Seems like someone might have checked the destination tag rather than continually transporting it?
- Gauthic, on 09/10/2008, -0/+33Oh you're sick!
I like you :) - clsslc, on 09/10/2008, -0/+30Correction: lose
- NeoCortex, on 09/10/2008, -0/+27I guess the competition isn't very stiff.
- inactive, on 09/10/2008, -3/+29Yea... it should be billions.
- angusm, on 09/10/2008, -0/+25Just goes to show you should never check baggage. He should have taken her in his carry-on.

http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/9900/stripghana ... - andyb747, on 09/10/2008, -8/+28The real story is that they were vacationing in Isreal and she died. He was given the choice to bury her there very inexpensively or send her back on a airplane, very costly. His answer was 'I'm going to send her back.......because I heard that about 200 years ago I man died here, he was buried and on the third day he rose from the dead....and I just cant take that chance with my wife......
- MxM111, on 09/10/2008, -0/+19Children, what did we learn today?
- Asianwaste, on 09/10/2008, -0/+18Bereave it or not, he had no other choice.
- GoKings, on 09/10/2008, -13/+31Pretty sad that she was lost... but millions? Come on now...
- wwwonka, on 09/10/2008, -2/+20bet those ***** charged her for extra leg room
- dragonrice, on 09/10/2008, -0/+16At least he found it before the mourning of her funeral.

- strangewill, on 09/10/2008, -1/+17*misplace
- Asianwaste, on 09/10/2008, -2/+17The situation isn't that grave. Don't blow a casket. It's all good as long as we don't have tomb much fun.
- funkyloki, on 09/10/2008, -1/+15I say the punishment should fit the "crime". This is not a piece of luggage that he is going without. Funerals are expensive, and I am sure he had to pay twice for the delay. Besides, I am quite sure that this caused some mental anguish and suffering. Suing people is one of those things that is supposed to act like a deterrent to keep them from doing it again. I say make it millions, because thousands would not be that punitive to a company like AA.
- acegi, on 09/10/2008, -1/+15yeah, well, you wouldn't want to sue the airline for measly couple thousand dollars. that basically says how important your deceased wife was for you. might as well be millions.
- PabloMac, on 09/10/2008, -1/+14You're absolutely right. Some people are dying to make inappropriate jokes.
- clark27799, on 09/10/2008, -0/+13lol damn those dead people for dieing.
- whorunbartertwn, on 09/10/2008, -2/+14AA will be coffin up some money for this error
- jamessavik, on 09/09/2008, -0/+12Losing luggage is bad enough...
- ElGubrush, on 09/10/2008, -2/+12The next thing you know, they'll be losing passengers on these flights.
Hey, where's little Billy? He was sitting right next to me but he went to the bathroom and got transferred over to a flight to Mongolia, apparently. - serif69, on 09/10/2008, -1/+11I think it's sweet that they were an interracial couple.
- elamr, on 09/10/2008, -2/+12If there was ever a reason to sue the airlines, this is it.
- strangewill, on 09/10/2008, -0/+9You mean people that try too hard are gonna get buried?
- Gauthic, on 09/10/2008, -0/+9Yeah, I see your point.
But it was his wife :) - ajaxmil, on 09/10/2008, -0/+8I see what you dead there.
- waaan, on 09/10/2008, -2/+10i hate connecting flights...
- ErickStevenson, on 09/10/2008, -1/+9I'm not religious or anything, but damn that is the stupidest and saddest ***** I have seen someone write. If you care for someone, only makes sense you will give them the respect you would like they were still alive. There are many forms of burial, depending on culture and you have to respect the person for that. I guess you prefer your body to be either flushed down the toilet or dumped in a dumpster sent to the ladfill... hey that's your choice. I feel sorry for your loved ones, if you have any.
- theotheragentm, on 09/10/2008, -0/+8I can see how losing a piece of luggage is possible, but does anyone know how many coffins get moved on a regular basis? Do they get mixed up? I would think it might miss a flight, but eventually make it to the right place.
- webbles, on 09/10/2008, -1/+9Wow, despite the fact that he made a typo about how long ago the guy died there, you totally missed the joke there comrade.
- whorunbartertwn, on 09/10/2008, -2/+10失掉
- SilverBlade2k, on 09/10/2008, -2/+10Hope he wins every cent..
- NotOptium, on 09/10/2008, -0/+7I wish I could sue you for that terrible comment.
I guess burying you will have to suffice. - Asianwaste, on 09/10/2008, -0/+7Nah, I'll be smart enough to cremate. I don't urn enough for an expensive funeral.
- Spire3660, on 09/10/2008, -0/+7Exactly, because that is simply what it is, a piece of cargo, that also happens to have a human cadaver in it. Big deal....its freight, not a living sentient being.
