- thegrantman, on 03/27/2009, -1/+42It would certainly be breathtaking if the glass broke.
- agentsrecord, on 03/26/2009, -2/+42Damn... that place is gorgeous.
Until Jaws shows up. - borez, on 03/27/2009, -0/+29A bit like having a steakhouse in the middle of a field of cows.
- atlasdugged, on 03/26/2009, -0/+23I wonder if you lose your appetite for fish in a restaurant like this?
- AngelBunny, on 03/26/2009, -1/+18http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithaa
not as pricey as I expected it to be. - twinklyJesus, on 03/27/2009, -1/+18I am going to wildly speculate here .... A ... door.
- Lederhosed, on 03/26/2009, -1/+13Atlantis in the Bahamas has a nice underwater restaurant too, but only one side of it is underwater. On the other side, you usually find Paris Hilton, or the like.
- whoreable, on 03/27/2009, -0/+12I'll have a crabby patty please.
- nosliwm, on 03/27/2009, -1/+13Wait a minute, those humans... They're EATING our brethren. Attack fish hoard, attack!
- inactive, on 03/26/2009, -2/+14Amazing

- Inflammo, on 03/27/2009, -1/+12I've always wanted to see an underwater restaurant! Now to get there...
It'd be odd if they didn't serve seafood.
And on that note, it must be weird for the fishes to watch you eat their brethren - itinerantspectr, on 03/27/2009, -1/+12does it come with the girl?
- boothash, on 03/27/2009, -0/+10I have a divemaster friend who works in the Maldives.
Apparently divers have to scrub the fish poop off of the glass several times a day... that's appetizing. - rabbro, on 03/27/2009, -1/+9"I'll have that one"
- idc5, on 03/27/2009, -1/+8How do you enter this underwater building?
- eramos, on 03/27/2009, -0/+7WARNING
In Case of Joke Already Being Made, Please STFU - borez, on 03/27/2009, -0/+7I wanna know what happens when you need the bathroom.
- Robotsscareme, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6am I the only one who thinks its a little ***** up to eat fish infront of fish..?
- ricopicouk, on 03/27/2009, -0/+6Sureley it would have to be close to the water surface, otherwise it would be very dark.
And if they light it from the inside, than the surface of the water would become like a mirror.
So its a bit cheasy really, having to eat in a tunnel which looks like it will only sit 15 people.
PLUS, its a daylight hours only, unless they stick lights out in the sea. - Pasaris, on 03/26/2009, -2/+8I find myself short of breath when viewing, almost like I'm subconsciously holding my breath.
- agentinfinite, on 03/26/2009, -1/+7I've always wanted to visit this place.
- iamstudip, on 03/27/2009, -1/+6I'd be on the outside of the acrylic roof dressed as a merman bugging everyone.
- rtheybakingcake, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5If it did then there's certainly something fishy about its construction
- wily6, on 03/27/2009, -2/+7$120 to $250?
Still too pricey for me. =[ - psokley, on 03/27/2009, -0/+5Or the smart sharks from deep blue sea show up.
Which is basically Jaws 3. - Fhwqhgads, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4Fish is wondering: Why are you eating my brother??
- dustko, on 03/27/2009, -0/+4People who spend $250 on a meal aren't likely to be as affected by the recession (talked to a rich person lately?)
- Elfman9, on 03/27/2009, -0/+3Adds new meaning to picking out our own food to cook! I want that one right there!
- DouglasQ, on 03/27/2009, -0/+3Didn't he die in Moonraker?
- bhealy1, on 03/27/2009, -0/+3That is amazing! Unfortunatly I don't think I'll make it to the Indian Ocean in this lifetime. Build one close to me!
- Chjoma10, on 03/27/2009, -0/+3Looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
- python56, on 03/27/2009, -2/+5Man, I'd be pissed if I were that dude's wife.
Apparently, it's like a struggle for him to gain the ability to take a picture of her face. - brundlefly76, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2Sorry here is the correct URL:
http://reynoldspolymer.com/Details/Hilton-Maldives ... - Frostek, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2Ha ha ha! Oh, you!
- Karai, on 03/27/2009, -1/+3Neat!
- roflmcwaffles, on 03/27/2009, -1/+3Wow, I'd love to visit the Maldives. I wonder how hotel prices would be in this economy, they might be pretty low.
- rexxhunt, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2due to global warming all of the Maldives is going to look like this in a few years
- elpollocholo, on 03/27/2009, -0/+27 days...
- PacoDEmu, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2check page two
long, dark hair FTMFW - FiestyPumpkin, on 03/28/2009, -0/+2According to the link provided by AngelBunny, a thatched door at the end of a jetty takes you down a spiral staircase into the restaurant.
- Jeepy, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2It's pretty and all but try serving more than 3 dishes at once in that place because there's so not enough aisle or headroom. I can't overstate how much nicer high ceilings are in a restaurant than gaudy chandeliers or decoration.
- foofiejnooner, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2In other news, local seafood restaurant diners hilariously eaten by fish after building collapse
- wjlaw100, on 03/27/2009, -1/+3Ditto. And put on some shoes would you, your are in a restaurant. No Shoes, No Service.
- inactive, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2I couldnt help but to feel a little nervous if i were in there........that chick had a big booty
- thefloss, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2First, an underwater restaurant....
Next, SEALAB2021!!
I miss that show.... :( - RaulMuadDib, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2You really need to stop smoking
- oblivionatm, on 03/27/2009, -0/+2And i will have....that fish! (points) Yes, that one up there. Go get it for me.
