  • jj00, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Cemeteries were originally meant to be like a public park - a place to go have a picnic or walk through the gardens. I visited Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh a few years ago and it was a nice city hike. It kind of makes sense once you realize how much room those places take up.
  • deva14, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2I've been known to wander around a cemetery or two on my travels - I think my favourite was a huge Victorian one in Glasgow. So peaceful.
