- megamod, on 09/05/2008, -0/+9Was I the only one that thought it was an interactive map of the subway SYSTEM?
I mean...it's still cool. - freshyill, on 09/05/2008, -0/+9They waited and waited, and the G never came, so they couldn't ride it to the end to take a picture.
- l0tharnt, on 09/05/2008, -0/+6Every time I see the wonder wheel all I can think of is..."Come out to play...Warriors..."
- hydroponikz, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4yep.
- Chicken, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Hes not really a great singer.... unfortunately.

- iamchewy, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2http://www.onnyturf.com/subway/
- Dingo1919, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2He stopped singing a month or two back, and he's not looking too well either. I cant see him surviving another winter if he's not taken care of.
- fletcher008, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2"it was the warriors! the warriors shot cyrus!"
CAN YOU DIGG IT - lex10, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2I went there once - was it a dream?
- bxblox, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2I live about 3 blocks down from that mcdonalds in the "2 Wakefield" picture. Its probably the worst part of wakefield under that train station. I remember about 10 years ago I was getting off the train there and there were hookers, illegal cabs, hustlers, and a man screaming "taxi! crack! cd player!" It's gotten a little better since then but I wouldn't hang around out there at night.
- Kewlduderules, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2There is a lot more to Astoria than this guy singing. Unfortunate.
- hydroponikz, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Aug 22, 2008 happened 3 months ago?
- josephhac, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Washington DC is the frakin' capital. Of course its clean!
- Farmer77, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I get off on the last stop of that L train station at Rockaway Pkwy, and yeah, it's not exactly safe, especially at nights. I remember I made a related comment on Digg that it wasn't safe for me to use an Ipod on the L train and I got dugg down by people who disagree and probably never had to venture past Broadway Junction, thinking the L train is 100 percent Hipsterville.
- mikesaint27, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1See the picture used for the end of the E-Line? Pretty good indication of the neighborhood, the one that I have to go through to take the train into the city.
- britblogger, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1great idea, but incomplete - no G, V or C train. cool, but not as cool as it should be to deserve a Digg mention.
- freshyill, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I agree. I moved from Brooklyn to Washington DC recently, and it's like night and day. Both cities have their good and bad parts above ground, but the DC Metro is where you can really see the difference. It's huge, clean, no rats, no dripping water, no hobos, nobody bumming for money. It's awesome.
- freshyill, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1That's pretty interesting. I used to ride the L every day, but it was only between 6th Ave. and Lorimer St. (I'd go to 8th pretty frequently too, which is the other end). The farthest I ever went into Brooklyn was Halsey St. (once), which is still like nine stops from the end of the line. I always wondered what was out there. As it turns out, not so much.
- SRSco, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I was hoping Google did Subway Maps: Tunnel, Elevated Track, Platform View.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I love that the Jamaica Center part is simply a WANTED FOR RAPE poster hanging on a building.
- rollerboy, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I sometimes fall asleep and end up on the last stop of my train, it's fun.
- adammharvey, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2thanks digg, enjoyed that very much. makes me really miss NYC
- sperez0986, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1The NYC subway is the best. Even though its always dirty, theres nothing like seeing all the diff type of stations and people.
- britblogger, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1that'll be because neither are classed as part of the New York subway.
For christ's sake, keep up. - betheturtle, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1And I bet you've seen one.
- freshyill, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Well if they would stop people from eating in it, like they do with DC, the rats would go away. Rats are the symptom. Garbage is the disease.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+0But I only see 4 listings under chicken part of the menu in the restaurant in Ozone park.
- EyeBaller1, on 09/05/2008, -1/+1The NYC subway is also about 70 years older than the DC Metro..
- Shelter22, on 09/05/2008, -1/+1well they didn't do LIRR or metro north either, but who cares. it is a pretty cool page and better than about 80% of the other ***** that gets dugg :)
- evilEL, on 09/05/2008, -1/+0I felt the same way when I would get off the 1 train in the Bronx at Van Cortlandt.
- 4getaboutit, on 09/05/2008, -2/+1I've lived in NYC for 17 years and I have yet to see as much as this has shown me.
- jsdieorksw, on 09/05/2008, -3/+2Uh, front page material?
- thetanman, on 09/05/2008, -2/+1That's a depressing link if I've ever seen one.
- brotherclone, on 09/05/2008, -1/+0poor G train left out again.
- BadAsh71, on 09/05/2008, -3/+0Didn't this get posted to Digg 3 months ago?
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -5/+1New York City is such a *****.
- SRSco, on 09/05/2008, -6/+2LAME COMMENT FTL (i hate people who type FTW or FTL...bury me)
- realestateloop, on 09/05/2008, -6/+1New York is dirty as hell.. I think someone needs to come in and pressure clean the whole damn city
