- d2002, on 11/20/2008, -2/+75"During an assignment to the Cordillera Sarmiento, an unexplored mountain range at the southern tip of Chile, Gordon Wiltsie's team climbed one of the highest peaks in the region. Noticing an enticing snow spire in the distance, Wiltsie instantly realized how exciting it would look with climbers on the summit.
While his companions rushed off to ascend the "Gremlin's Cap," Wiltsie prayed that the ice inside the elements of his 80-200mm zoom lens would thaw before they reached the top. In the interim, he grabbed this image with a 50mm lens, setting his friends into the grand context of the other-worldly environment."

- polarbobbear, on 11/21/2008, -2/+6I take it you have never climbed a mountain. There is no feeling quite like reaching the summit of a peak and just seeing the rest of the world below your feet.
- dawnraid101, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4You Autodidaddict are a *****. Quit complaining. Would you like a glass of whine?

- thedivinelyevil, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4even an "/s" wouldn't help you in this case. sorry. not every sarcastic comment is dugg up. and this one fails miserably, sarcastic or not.
- thedivinelyevil, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I didn't find it funny... and I get one digg to express my opinion, which I utilized as it was meant to be.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings! - eers2snow, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3I hope one of them brought a board or skis. That powder looks quite slash-able.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3Ever notice how some comic, pic, or article will be posted and somebody in the comments section will give the "original" link. It's like an honor code, to give credit where credit is due. Honestly, you should have given the original link and probably retyped it without caps.
