    • Anonymously, on 01/09/2008, -0/+2There's only one Starbucks in that _shot_, but there's a bigger Starbucks on 41st and Broadway (two blocks south of this panorama). Then another on 42nd and 6th, and another between 7th and 8th on 42nd.
      That's just within a couple blocks of the picture.

If you rotate 90 degrees to the right, facing the Starbucks and the two bright lights above the street, you are facing north. The Toys R Us is at 44th and Broadway, so the ABC Studio (where the two lights are) is blocking the view.

    • Anonymously, on 01/09/2008, -0/+2I live and work in Manhattan and that's what it sounds like in Times Square at that hour. Just turn up the volume so you have to raise your voice a bit to have a conversation and it's a pretty decent approximation.

The picture is nice, but for my taste there's too much motion blur from the long exposure and the ground retouching is a bit sloppy. Still, if you've never been someplace, a panorama like that is always interesting.
