Who cares? I don't know about the rest of you, but as far as cow's milk goes, when I go to the store I have a choice between skim, 1%, 2%, and whole milk. Your Prius and your MacBook were made in Asia. This IS a California product, but do you expect a state that issues IOUs to pay a premium to the Teamsters union? This cold have been done domestically if you could avoid the unnecessary union.

In the cold harsh reality though, they are in crowded barns, repeatedly milked several times per day, and fed antibiotics some of which gets into the milk.

Progress and changing demographics mean that some areas no longer look like they're supposed to, and god knows industrial agriculture doesn't look nice. Commercials showing the idyllic English countryside are nowadays usually shot in southern France.

Maybe if the Unions would actually require members to work ( the full scope of the job) and have competitive wages and benefits, those with jobs would embrace them. Interesting that a company would actually incur additional travel costs to avoid union workers. Tells you something about the unions, doesn't it? Remember, it's business and the rich that create and provide jobs.

LA going to the other side of the planet to shoot a local commercial still results in lost jobs. Did we all forget it is a commercial for ***** milk, too? A product that doesn't need advertising. Especially considering the fact they are promoting home-grown and the majority of people can't figure out how to distinguish one carton from another.
