- inactive, on 10/10/2008, -2/+11Oh, Jesus-*****-Christ on a pogo stick! You want your New Babylon, well this is it. We have gone and constructed a stunning monument to honor our own stupidity. People flock there to worship ignorance. It's just absolutely sickening.
Now I know religion can't be blamed for all the world's problems, but what about things like the Creation Museum? There's no way you can't blame this celebration of ignorance, and indeed this country's pride in ignorance in general, on religion. - TheKillDoctor, on 10/10/2008, -1/+6That is very true. I know quite a few people (myself included) that went just for laughs. Seeing parents leading their children through the exhibits could be considered educational child abuse.

Is this the place that Bill Maher went to in Religulous? With the crazy guy with the Captain Ahab beard running it? With dinosaurs that have saddles on them? - GordonFree, on 10/11/2008, -0/+1This is madness.
- WestonP, on 10/11/2008, -1/+1Ugh... please don't feed the angry atheist trolls.
- OPR8R, on 10/10/2008, -1/+1I wouldn't call religion "human stupidity". If you think about it, the organized religions are actually quite genius. I can understand, on a psychological level, why religion proliferates.
I give religion about 300-500 more years tops though... - BXRWXR, on 10/10/2008, -3/+2Well, even a broken clock has the correct time twice a day, so there's that.
