- effinboy, on 04/12/2009, -0/+11BYOB! ... because all we got here is crap.
- eramos, on 04/13/2009, -0/+10You're a moron.
Hold on, my BLT is ready.
Anyway, as I was saying, you always make great posts, richenloaf. - cowboy86, on 04/12/2009, -9/+18The smaller version of that thumbnail looks like a vagina.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+7I have been to Zion and Bryce. Pretty amazing.
- inactive, on 04/12/2009, -2/+9This is fitting. As a kid I spent every Easter in Southern Utah. This post is 100% correct, and it looks AWESOME.
- sythanate, on 04/12/2009, -0/+6Most of the four corners landscape is great, just hope it stays that way and companies/development stay the "F" out!
- gwhenning, on 04/12/2009, -0/+6Utah is an amazing state. I plan on heading down for this trip this summer. I'm looking forward to taking pictures in the narrows.
- Slash0, on 04/13/2009, -0/+6Did anybody else notice that the link is killing the DiggBar after it loads?
- mizzermike, on 04/12/2009, -3/+8Dugg because at first glace I thought image was vagina.
- batmanz, on 04/12/2009, -0/+5The 'boycott Utah' stuff was immature and just a knee-jerk reaction that made no sense. Utah is awesome.
- sizzzzlerz, on 04/12/2009, -0/+5Trust me on this. You don't ever want to go there. Its dry. Its dusty. Its full of rocks and 3.2% beer.
Stay away. Go to the Bahamas or Cancun. - thadjudkins, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5I won't even address the first 3 because either they're a joke or S Utah's not for him but I always chuckle at the 3.2% thing. See, most people see the % but ignore the units. Utah, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado measure alcohol as 3.2% ABW which is actually 4% ABV if you measure it like the rest of the states which isn't that far from the national average for beer. I've seen sooooo many people get drunk quicker than they expect since I moved out here since they think it has no alcohol in it. Anyway, if anyone really cares to get a bit more alcohol by sip then buy beer at a liquor store instead of a grocery store.

/thad - jlpapple, on 04/12/2009, -0/+5I was a US Park Ranger there in Southern Utah from 2006 - 2008. Awesome place indeed - now stuck in Massachusetts.
- farfegnugen, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5This is the internet, you can say *****.
- jimfeet, on 04/13/2009, -0/+4I live in southern Utah. It's really boring here. Just a bunch of rocks. Trust me, you wouldn't like it. Don't come. Colorado is much nicer. Or New York.
- angel.wardriver, on 04/12/2009, -2/+6Adventured there in the "Old West" before. It was an outstanding time in unbelievable rugged beauty.
- mtdna, on 04/13/2009, -1/+5It's a LIE! Stay AWAY! Southern Utah is a nightmare: mosquitoes, crowds, rain. Trust me - you want nothing to do with it. Just look at this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Ralston
Now excuse me while I [ahem] pack my bike, tent, and camera... - haydukeqc, on 04/12/2009, -0/+4Buried (well not really) for no mention of Ed Abbey
- WorfoSAUR, on 04/12/2009, -0/+3woot. I live in Southern Utah, and can testify of its sheer amazingness.
- bikeidaho, on 04/12/2009, -1/+4Actually not Moab. Staircase is south of Moab and some of the best things Utah has to offer and NOT Moab. I might be bitter though just returning from Moab during Jeep Week.
- richenloaf, on 04/12/2009, -1/+4This is funny, just a few months ago everybody here was saying "BOYCOTT UTAH" Now everyone is dying to go. It seems like the average digger's attention span doesn't last much longer than the time between posts about bacon.
- bikeidaho, on 04/12/2009, -0/+3You must live in Utah.
- inactive, on 04/12/2009, -0/+31.9 million digg users remain unknown and unexplored
- weakradiator, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3Cutthroat Pale Ale FTW also: Chasing Tail, Full Suspension and Rooster's Cream Ale are all delicious, Utah's microbrews are great and you still get drunk from 3.2 percent...it just takes more!
- farfegnugen, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3How can you stand it? I'm originally from New Jersey and can barely stand the weather up in Boston.
- antoniuk, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3Southern Utah is one of the most amazing places in the world
- urbanetruth, on 05/01/2009, -0/+2Southern Utah is truly a mind blowing experience, especially for those spending most of the their time surrounded by concrete. It's a really great place to get away. Cell phone coverage is spotty to non-existant. Leave the laptop at home also.
- ajroadtrips, on 04/12/2009, -3/+5Southern Utah is AMAZING! Having spent years exploring the canyons and mesas, I am continuously in awe of the beauty.
Check out pics on my site:
http://www.ajroadtrips.com/go/ - mkearl, on 04/12/2009, -0/+2I currently reside here in S. Utah. I moved away for a few years and went crazy missing all the red rock. Moved back and plan on staying here the rest of my days. If anyone has the chance to come, don't hesitate. It's beautifully mind blowing.
- bikeidaho, on 04/12/2009, -0/+2The narrows are cool. Everyone should hike it Top Down.
- Zero123, on 04/12/2009, -0/+2I was just there last week! Nine mile hike down Spooky Canyon and back up Peek a boo. such a good hike.
- akchrs, on 04/12/2009, -4/+6I'd like to go 4 wheeling there.
- cerealjynx, on 04/12/2009, -0/+2You'll be 'appier than a koaler up a gum tree!
- silentdragoon, on 04/12/2009, -0/+2***** yes.
- drudometkin, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2I'm in southern California and i'm planning a trip to Utah. Planning on stopping in Vegas for one night then going to Zion and Bryce over the next 2-3 days. Any tips on what city to stay in?
- toxiccrusader, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2I lIve in Utah and I can attest to the accuracy of this article. Southern Utah is one of the most amazing outdoor areas in the US.
- RebornInFlames, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Also you can find local brews at full percentage at the liquor store, along with the usual variety of imported 6 to 8 percent beers.
- RebornInFlames, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Southern Utah + LSD + Meteor Shower
Try it. - flaterates, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Southern Utah- It's nice to know there's still a place in this country where a man can get 5 or 6 wives.
- loopyloopy, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2i'm the only one that misread the title initially as America's Outbreak?
- JDanner3, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Agreed.
- henryvaughan, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Thats what she said
- sythanate, on 04/13/2009, -0/+1Agreed, please stay out everyone!
- TheVoxHumanus, on 04/13/2009, -1/+1I've been there, and return frequently. This is quite unlike any place I've ever been.
I am not a religious person and I never will be, though the experiences I've had in quiet moments in the splendor of this part of the country are the closest to any sense of "God" I've ever had. - allm3, on 05/04/2009, -0/+0Enjoy a 3 Day 2 Night Vacation just for trying...

- Fibby1123, on 04/13/2009, -2/+2WTF is with all these Utah articles in the last couple days? Looks like someone here in Utah figured out how to post articles.
Southern Utah is a pretty great place. Watch out for the polygamist compounds in the area!
