- fuzzyllama, on 06/16/2009, -0/+6It's about time they got busy with upgrades. I'm sick of the retro planes with the sealed off ash trays on the seats. How long has it been since smoking has been allowed in a plane?
- studdenfadden, on 06/16/2009, -1/+6Instead of this mediocre blog, go to http://www.seatguru.com/ it indiviualy lists every seat, on every plane, form every airline and tells you every thing about the entertainment, seat width, power ports, view from the window, etc.
Oh, it also includes most of the world not just America. - tjex, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4And that's why I love Air Canada. You get all the goodies (free movies, radio channels, TV) from a touch screen in front of you. Free for all classes. You're even supplied with a electric plug and a USB plug to recharge your toys.
Wifi is $13 though as is currently getting rolled-out - KirbyMeister, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4I love how dead last US Airways is.
- dalittle, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4Most people bring their own entertainment and would rather have more leg room.
- rediff, on 06/16/2009, -0/+3Emirates has the best inflight entertainment systems I have seen ...

After I rewatch the whole series I watch Joey, then Seinfeld, then That '70s Show, then Will & Grace, then back to Friends. I rewatch the whole series pretty much once a year. I can't believe you don't like Friends! It's one of the best shows EVER!
- therealrico, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2yeah it is so great, I am so happy that is where all my frequent flyer miles are (sarcasm)
- zdiggler, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2Jet Blue too.. I got DirecTV actually I prefer that more then internet on plane.
***** the the internet. Stay disconnected for little while. - Oea420, on 06/17/2009, -0/+2Hey, external cameras with a way to view them in-flight is a wonderful addition, I absolutely love that.
- NiNiCraftOne, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1The entertainment system is great on Air Canada and that's about the only good thing. I think the airline made a corporate decision that providing seat-back entertainment is way cheaper than giving any customer service. "Plug yourselves in here, people... Shut-up and enjoy your flight... be grateful we did not cancel it or bump you off... "
You know an airline sucks when the employees hate it even more than all the pissed-off customers. Their CSRs snarl and shrug their shoulders a lot. Good movies though.... and they actually are willing to sell you customer-service for $35 each way as an add-on to your ticket (they call it On-Your-Way and for the price they guarantee someone alive will answer your call in case you need customer service! oh.. and you get re-booking priority after they cancel your flight.) - KirbyMeister, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1Without that frequent flyer program they'd be bankrupt.
- gordigor, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1Come on Virgin Pacific already!
- neveroffline, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1What no Frontier? No internet, but all seats have DirectTV. No other way to travel on 3+hr flights.
- DrJG, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1On longer flights one is better off catching up with sleep. And comfort matters, which is reduced with less leg space compared to a few decades ago.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1How bout BA, CP or Asiana?
- inactive, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1Picture reminds me of the Ridley Scott commercial, 1984
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1Buried for tagging "Friends" along... would have dugg you up if you mentioned "Lost"... with that particular air crash episode.
http://www.airdominion.com/technology.htm - leonardutah, on 06/16/2009, -2/+2Wow, awesome, new services so they can charge me even more! I mean, god forbid I want to watch tv so that I can forget that I'm stuck in the middle row trying not to bump legs with the giant guy sitting next to me, that always seems to have to climb over me to go the bathroom at least ten times during the flight. And thanks for charging extra for the exit row so bigger people can have some room. What if they don't want to pay? They end up in a window seat next to me. If they do pay, yeah that's what we want, the person who's supposed to open the door in case the plane goes down pissed off because he just paid an extra 50 bucks for his seat, and then 12 bucks for the internet, five for the movie, and god knows how much on overpriced cans of budweiser just so he (or she) can try and survive the flight.
I fly a lot. - lorddazzer, on 06/16/2009, -0/+0Go SIA!
- lobsterxcore, on 06/17/2009, -2/+1I flew on Aloha 2 years ago and was stuck watching Friends for 3 hours. Towards the end of it, I was starting to hope the plane would crash.
