- buddypriefert, on 04/18/2008, -2/+41Wow, unbelieveable technology! Just imagine if Google were to happen upon this idea of taking photos from space and putting them together in some kind of a mapping system.

- bjs74, on 04/18/2008, -0/+4Probably the greatest structure built by man - considering it's size, how long ago it was built, lack of technology at the time, and the fact it's still here!

- quoquo, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1looks like it. i don't know if that's decadent or just sad.
- blean1, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1This is an image taken long before 'Google maps' existed, and then it's not of the highest resolution the satellite 'IKONOS' was capable of. The image is at least 10 years old. It was taken at an altitude of ~ 234 miles while traveling at ~ 17,000 mph. As far as them 'not lining up'...they weren't built at the same time, were they? The Earth wobbles.
- SNUFF, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Is that a Starbucks?
- hiikeeba, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Yeah, but the view from that par five along the desert is amazing!

- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -0/+1The last remnants of a once great civilization. It really makes you wonder what things will look like five thousand years from now.
