- kolobcreek, on 05/30/2009, -1/+6If only I could bike my way to freedom today. Seems like every week some politician is trying to make me their bitch. Tax this tax that.... You can't do this you can't do that. I thought this was the land of the free? Why don't our politicians go to washington or our state capitals to make us more free every year instead of more indebted to our government?
- Hodor, on 05/30/2009, -0/+5that's cool, but I'm still not going to bicycle that far..

- inactive, on 06/02/2009, -0/+0Right you are! Plan on lots of strip malls, fast food chains, and your favorite gas stations and pissing off people trying to drive to them as quickly as possible.
- Octanum, on 05/30/2009, -1/+1I skimmed the article for pictures, I found none :/

- inactive, on 06/02/2009, -0/+0Me and my pal are workin' on it.
- bdbr, on 05/30/2009, -1/+1That's nice and all, but keep in mind the vast majority of US immigration and development occurred in the 20th century, well after the "underground railroad". This route as it is today will have very little to do with all that. Drivers in America's heartland aren't exactly known for their patience with bicyclists, either.
