- eagles7977, on 11/09/2009, -0/+5The Hollywood Hotel is still one of my favorite landmarks.
- Dr3w, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4I wish I had been around for that era of Hollywood instead of being here now.
And I'd rather be here now than Ohio, so I guess I'll keep looking on the bright side. - digitalArtform, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4How about the Outpost Sign?
Everyone has forgotten about it, but it is still where it has always been - just mangled and rusted...

Cliff Cobb: It's my grandfather's salad. I'm a Cobb of Cobb salad fame.
Larry: I think that this is a real bull s**t story.
Larry: "My grandfather's name was Harold Bingo, and he invented Bingo."
I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. - jwquinlan, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Hollywood is great, but it attracts a lot of strange people, as tourists and as actors.
- Agatha415, on 11/23/2009, -0/+1No doubt. At least the dumbassess aren't painting butterflys on sidewalks.
http://all-about-lapband.com - Commonwealth, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I just started working in Hollywood the last year, and the major thing I noticed is that the scenery is not particularly interesting, but you see some of the most bizarre people in the world here on a daily basis. You can see a dude furiously dancing in his underpants covered in sweat next to the bus stop, and noooobody even slows down.
- anixmander, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Personally, I think that's one of the great things about Hollywood, its a great place to find the most interesting, and unusual people.
- lucidapathy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1That is exactly right. That's even what I came to say. The Knickerbocker also used to have a coffee house in the lower floor that was filled with as much memorabilia that the owner could gather. Not collectibles mind, but things that famous people had used before they died. The owner was awesome, super creepy, and obsessed with ghosts and such. I miss that place.
- BungDiddy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I have the sneaking suspicion that Microsoft is behind all of these "7" lists and videos I'm seeing lately...
