deputy-dog.com — Some incredible beasts have been constructed in the name of research and below are 5 of the most immediately intriguing. there are plenty more out there which will be highlighted in the near future as i’m making this a series of sorts. let me know if you have any in mind for the next collection.

    Thats some scary *****. I want to say that I hope that whatever they're doing with #3 doesn't "unexpectedly" cause to earth to implode or something, but knowing all of humanity died with me makes me smile.

  • MacEnvy, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3Yeah, the VLA radio telescopes are very cool. I was lucky enough to visit the site a few years ago, and it's even more incredible in person. Each of those dishes is bigger than a house, and they're all on tracks so they can be repositioned at will. They've got a nice little visitors' center too.

With the exception of the chamber from the beginning of the game, I don't recall seeing anything similar to supercolliders or anechoic chambers anywhere in the expansive Black Mesa labs. You'd think they'd have one or two.
