I wanted to stand on the rock at Kjeragbolten, but the wind was blowing so hard I couldn't even stand up straight on solid rock, much less a rock that's 3/4 of a mile off the ground.

Also, while Half-Dome is cool, the view from Cloud's rest (about 1-2 miles from Half Dome) has much better views overall

At least not if you live on a continent like Australia where they start to become annoying from the ridiculous lengths of sheer cliff face. At places like along the Great Ocean Road (where the Twelve Apostles are - actually it's about 5 these days) the scenery is lovely but the tempting Australian beaches below are inaccessable except in a few places.
