- ldkronos, on 06/08/2009, -2/+45Wow. Did it have to resize my browser window EVERY time I clicked the next button?
- Homerr, on 06/08/2009, -1/+31124 pages, and resizing?
Buried. - NathanLoehlein, on 07/27/2009, -0/+23You realize they are the LA Times, and their main audience is in Los Angeles, which is in Southern California, right?

- blapierre, on 06/09/2009, -1/+16Yes it does.
- Lederhosed, on 06/09/2009, -0/+14Ah, but isn't every trip in Southern California a road trip?
- thebeginning, on 06/08/2009, -6/+18First thing:
LAtimes, are you freaking kidding me. Why would ANYONE click through that many pages. Not happening.
Second thing:
Not everyone lives in Southern California (shocker) - newman8r, on 06/08/2009, -1/+13yeah I really want to take a 357 mile trip to visit stanford... jesus that sounds like fun
- Regulator980, on 06/09/2009, -0/+12If you have Firefox:
Tools => Options => Content => Advanced => *uncheck* Move or resize windows - VisualRhetoric, on 06/08/2009, -4/+14Buried.
Worst.Site.Ever. - blapierre, on 06/09/2009, -0/+7Thanks for resizing my browser LA Times!
- Chompy, on 06/09/2009, -0/+5Yes it does.
- paperclipsNsoup, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5Your will to click next is strong... I saw the number of pages and closed the tab
- GregFD3S, on 06/08/2009, -1/+5LA Times: ***** you and your ***** advertisements!
- paperclipsNsoup, on 06/08/2009, -5/+8Buried for 125 pages.
(It doesn't resize firefox) - yacks, on 06/09/2009, -0/+3Greatest Bankrupted State. ;)
- cam0man, on 06/09/2009, -2/+5this is basically a list of awesome things to do in the bay area...
- cran, on 06/09/2009, -0/+3Okay, I initially buried this and then got caught up with all the wonderful places to go and see.
It's an annoying layout, but worth the hassle! - PsychoDesigns, on 06/09/2009, -0/+3Resizing is worst when using dual monitors, it hides the window at the bottom between the two monitors. [and I'm using FF]
How disappointingly retarded. - waaan, on 06/09/2009, -0/+3thank you
- vjgx, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2This window-resizing 124-page nonsense almost seems done on purpose... as if they're trying to annoy Digg users.
- JoeHague, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2You gave up to soon/
- Regulator980, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2Here's the list organized by area:
http://www.latimes.com/travel/la-trw-roadtrip,0,56 ... - auximenes, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2I didn't like the layout, but I did click through all of the pages. It beat online traffic school, and I found out about a lot of cool places I'd like to visit this summer.
- robbob, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2I would have organized this based on shortest to longest distance
- IllBeBack, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2To stop resizing In Firefox 3, go to Tools, Options, Content.
Click the "Advanced" button next to "Enable JavaScript".
Uncheck "Move or resize existing windows". - inactive, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2It needs the Trona Pinnacles.
- IllBeBack, on 06/09/2009, -0/+2In Firefox 3, go to Tools, Options, Content.
Click the "Advanced" button next to "Enable JavaScript".
Uncheck "Move or resize existing windows".
Click OK to save. - laguano, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Not only that, thebeginning, the article was never intended to be for Digg. Diggers choose what reach the front page. So, guess what? A lot of Diggers are from either the Bay area or Southern California.
- yacks, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1would you take $4 for the tour?
- khyberkitsune, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1124 places are not mentioned. only 83 pages and the first page doesn't say jack. Buried for inaccuracy.
- JoeHague, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Driving from LA to Tahoe is ***** epic/
- shnuffy, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Error.
- eramos, on 06/09/2009, -1/+2Not if you turn browser resizing off, like I do. ***** websites that try to change the size of my window.
- headlightfish, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1on the first slide, there's a link that takes you to the main page where you can see most of the places on one page: http://www.latimes.com/travel/la-trw-roadtrip,0,56 ...
- JoeHague, on 06/09/2009, -0/+15 to Sacramento, 80 to North Lake
The trick is you have to leave LA about an hour before it starts snowing at Lake Tahoe. That way when you can stuck on 80 under 6 feet of snow for 24 hours.
P.S. When your stuck in your car on 80 make sure you shut the engine off before you go to sleep, otherwise the snow will cover your tale pipe while your sleeping and you'll die/ - CoD4, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1One of these days i'm gonna make a site with over 9k links and wait for someone to post them in the comments
- weazal, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Wait, really? What route do you recommend? I'm planning a trip soon...
- zakool21, on 06/10/2009, -0/+1He did indeed give up too soon. It goes on to camping, deserts, and other things. Worth clicking through!
- mattearle, on 06/08/2009, -3/+4Really? Worst site ever?
It was laid out OK for me (on a big monitor I guess) and a neat idea with a lot of good information.
Also, it did the resizing for me so at least it was easy. - yacks, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1but it can be a roadtrip from socal
- elgatoloco, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Take highway 395 all the way up. Make sure to stop at Mono lake.
- zagatbuzz, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1Some of these looked really amazing! An extensive list with some great info.
- dcruzen, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1would have been great If it didn't get my hopes up for San Elijo state beach camping. every spot reserved until September =-(
- Dandy2, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1So many places! A bit overwhelming I think, but there are a'lot of great places on the list. I had no resizing problems with digg bar on in chrome. Dugg.
- ldkronos, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1That's because you are looking at the california section. If you go back to the main listing (linked from the bottom) and then choose one ofthe other states (Utah, Texas, etc) it links to a different group with the other locations.
- yacks, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1is 1 best or worst?
