- phreak79, on 12/21/2008, -0/+20That Wimbledon final is a highlight of the last decade of tennis for me.
- ncraig, on 12/21/2008, -0/+6Tsonga in the Aussie Open was such a thrill to watch, he crushed the ball every time he hit it.
- q1006662, on 12/21/2008, -0/+6I'd care more if there were videos...
- clockdist, on 12/21/2008, -0/+6They should have started with #10
- chaos7, on 12/21/2008, -0/+5tennis owns
- DoTheFandango, on 12/21/2008, -0/+4That final was so good that I convinced my dad to stop doing yard work to watch it. I just remember the awe that we were both in.

If I may add, those athletes really inspire tennis players like myself. I can't wait to play the Canadian University Championship this summer at the Rexall Center (during the Rogers Cup in Toronto!) - scottysmith, on 12/21/2008, -0/+4I totally agree with some of the above comments...Wimbledon final was one of the best games this decade in my view. Without doubt the 2 best mens players, battling it out..awesome to watch
- dannyboy3020, on 12/21/2008, -0/+3Yeah, no kidding. I wasn't even a tennis fan before that...it was amazing.
- novenator, on 12/21/2008, -0/+2get the tennis channel for coverage of the Madrid tournament. all the ball girls are models
- drhouse, on 12/23/2008, -0/+2That final was indeed awesome. I'm so happy for Rafa's well-deserved victory
- novenator, on 12/21/2008, -0/+2in 2009, look out for a mini-comeback by Federer. I doubt he will retake the world #1 position, but I suspect he will win 2 grand slams.
- mousky, on 12/21/2008, -0/+2Don't forget that Federer had mono during that tournament. To play that long and that intense is mind blowing.
- SportsWriter9, on 12/22/2008, -0/+1Title should read: "Top 10 Tennis Highlights For English Fans".
- Robby69, on 12/21/2008, -0/+1Yeah, best Wimbledon since 1981--epic!
I would like to see who would win today with a wooden racquet...I'm sure Borg and Johny Mac would still beat most guys in the Top 50 with a woody. - inactive, on 12/21/2008, -4/+4Sorry, but for 2008, this should only be a Top 1 list. You can't put ANY other highlight in the same category as the Wimbledon final. Putting 9 others on the list..even behind it, diminishes it. That was similar to Pete Sampras' dehydrated vomit filled comeback in the 1996 US Open quarterfinals. Even other big memories like Jimmy Connors run at the 1990 US Open don't belong on a list with 2008 Wimbledon.
- Eakere, on 12/21/2008, -2/+2Buried for no appreciation of the blackrock masters, that thing was fifty times more entertaining than a usual tennis tournament.
- ShrimpCrackers, on 12/21/2008, -4/+4I have a different sort of list in mind...
1) Ana Ivanovic,
2) Maria Sharapova,
3) Maria Kirilenko,
4) Daniela Hantuchova,
5) Sania Mirza,
6) Maria Hingis,
7) Gisela Dulko,
8) Caroline Wozniacki,
9) Dominika Cibulkova
10) Romana Tabakova
I mean just look at Romana alone: http://img.cas.sk/img/4/article/193396_romana-taba ...
*Not necessarily in this order and varying by the person... - doublefelix, on 12/21/2008, -2/+2I love this article.
- IpwnZnoobs, on 12/21/2008, -7/+3Needs more boobies!
- 0insane1, on 12/21/2008, -8/+2tennis is violent.
almost as much as chess - td34, on 12/21/2008, -8/+2Nobody cares about tennis.
