I am a sysadmin in a medical group and trust me, 99.9% of the fat people out there DON'T have a "problem" with thier bodies.
The only problem is they have no self control.
Is everyone made differently? Sure. Do some people have to work hard as hell to stay thin? Sure. Is this "fair"? No, I have to say, it sucks for them.
I'm 6'9" and got picked on in school all the time. Is that fair? No, but you don't hear me complaining.
People need to suck it up and stop crying about life not being fair until one of you can show me the legal document tha popped out of your momma with you saying life was going to be fair.

She may be a little overweight, but she figured the extra weight was due to the fact she quit smoking. The title of this article makes it sound like she's grossly obese and couldn't tell the difference in her weight - which is not true.

It causes irregular menstruation, weight gain, difficult to impossible weight loss and makes it very unlikely to have children. It is hereditary. So typically, because people with this have weight problems from an earlier age, they often form a comedic excuse for their weight as a defense mechanism.
My wife has PCOS. Many common diets (perfectly effective for me) failed and she has gone through bariatric surgery. She has found it difficult even with a quarter of a cup stomach (normal stomachs hold 4 cups of food), to loose weight.
Please, watch what you say. Then one day she goes into labor. The reason SHE didn't know is because she was told that she could never have kids. She blocked the idea out of her mind.

I mean my mom was not someone to binge on everything..she got so frustrated at one point she would refuse to eat at all and still wasn't loosing weight. She had gastric bypass surgery the summer before my senior year in high school and I can hnoestly say it changed her life. My mom looks even more beautiful than she did before and she's so happy. Everytime I see her she's nothing but smiles. I wish the best to your wife. :)
