- BluesFan, on 01/13/2008, -1/+61I thought Wesley took off with the time traveler guy becasue he didn't want to be in star fleet anymore....remember that episode?
I guess after watching Nemesis they can't really screw up franchise any more then that. - inactive, on 01/13/2008, -1/+44http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2008/01/a ...
- SydneyHopper, on 01/13/2008, -1/+39Engineer? Oh how the great have fallen. So he went to every point of time on the space/time continuum, but felt his true home lay on the Enterprise lite, with the fat bearded one? What a disappointment to Beverley he must be. And this remains a stark warning to all those child geniuses- the banality of life will strip you of your potential and make you as average as the next man
- max4077, on 01/13/2008, -0/+26Of course you're not. But even Wheaton acknowledges the character was a little dumb.
- max4077, on 01/13/2008, -0/+21No, Wil Wheaton actually was Wesley Crusher and he was actually travelling though time and space.
- diggdat, on 01/13/2008, -2/+22I have enjoyed Wil Wheaton's writing a great deal. He personalizes his unique experiences with humor and has managed to take an independent path. Being able to do that while raising a family, is an enviable life IMHO.
- KamikazeeDriver, on 01/13/2008, -0/+18I've gained much respect for Wil Wheaton the person since reading some of his writings. He has a great sense of humor.
- KamikazeeDriver, on 01/13/2008, -0/+17I could see him showing up for the wedding. Even though he's busy hanging out with the time traveler, he'd have plenty of time to stop in a say hey!
I think TNG deserves another film. They just need a good script and not a bunch of BS. - inactive, on 01/13/2008, -2/+19Attention Paramount:
Just make new episodes of The Next Generation.
Please forget about the prequel movie.
(its worth a shot) - signal15, on 01/13/2008, -0/+16I wish they would make a new Star Trek series that was as good as TNG. I'm no trekkie by any means, but it was one of the best shows on TV when I was growing up.
- arizonagroove, on 01/13/2008, -0/+13He can be seen briefly sitting down at a table, but the scene where he actually spoke was indeed cut. He posted on his blog that he knew in advance it'd been cut. Someone, possibly Rick Berman, phoned to tell him.
- MicrosoftBob, on 01/13/2008, -0/+13Looks like somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning....
- KaiUno, on 01/13/2008, -2/+15Not you, apparantly. Next time, just skip the thread if you don't. The title didn't realy lure you in with the promise of naked women, now did it.
- max4077, on 01/13/2008, -2/+14Good for him. As a kid, I thought the Wesley Crusher character was a little annoying. But Wil Wheaton is a good guy and I hope he continues to get more and more Star Trek work.
- qkslvr221, on 01/13/2008, -3/+14Shut up, Wesley.
- KamikazeeDriver, on 01/13/2008, -1/+12You mean all this is fiction? I thought it was a documentary send to us from the future (brought by wesley, the time traveling kid)
- p3ngwin, on 01/13/2008, -7/+17i loved star trek, especially the bits with Han Solo and Chewy, although never could stand those jawas....waitaminute ....what's this about again?
- chaoscode, on 01/13/2008, -0/+10You'd be amazed what marriage will change.
- haterofps3, on 01/13/2008, -14/+23Am I the only one who hated Wesley Crusher?
- pushmouse, on 01/13/2008, -0/+9No. We hated his character because he was a 16 year old written as an eight year old.
- ericthegreat, on 01/13/2008, -0/+9Thank you. Hate blog spam
- MicrosoftBob, on 01/13/2008, -1/+10Fascinating.
- ryan83189, on 01/13/2008, -1/+9Why did they have a kid and a blind man piloting their ship?
- Ramble, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8Kinda, he left with the guy and then left him to learn more.
Basically, he took a gap year. - runep, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8Idiot, Star Trek is the show with MacGyver and the star gatey things.
- DivisibleByZero, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8I'm assuming he means Denise Crosby?
- Ramble, on 01/13/2008, -0/+7He did indeed.
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+7He married Troi and was about to take command of his own ship in the last movie.
- swgc5, on 01/13/2008, -0/+6It wasn't Wil's fault that the character sucked 75% of the time, he was just given terrible situations and dialogue by writers who were out of touch with youth at the time. He actually did an excellent job considering the position he was in.
- etnlIcarus, on 01/13/2008, -0/+6I was under the impression Will got his scene in Nemesis cut in the final edit. I've only seen Nemesis once, a couple of years ago. Can anyone confirm/deny this?
- BassCadet, on 01/13/2008, -0/+6i like turtles
- slinky317, on 01/13/2008, -4/+9You do know it's just a TV show and movies, right?
- azAZ09, on 01/13/2008, -0/+5Please ignore the geek-baiting troll, he's just picking on your obsessions.
- MacEnvy, on 01/13/2008, -2/+6I'd really like to see a DS9 or VOY movie though. The TNG cast is getting a little long in the tooth. And a DS9 reunion movie would be awesome, if they can make the story line work (there would have to be a damn good reason for them all to get back together after the series finale).
- slayerab, on 01/13/2008, -0/+45,6,,8,9, and half of it made it out of 10
- loopyloopy, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4same here. his review of the "Justice" episode was very funny
http://www.tvsquad.com/2006/12/05/star-trek-the-ne ... - KaiUno, on 01/13/2008, -2/+6I thought he left to become sort of ascended, like on Stargate. He didn't go with the guy to leave Starfleet, he just had to leave starfleet to evolve.
- smacksaw, on 01/13/2008, -3/+7I guess they couldn't find anyone who actually appreciated the opportunity ST gave them to do this "thing" on the Queen Mary.
- morel42, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3Wil to cursed with the most horrible writing in the history of Sci Fi.. "I feel strange.. But also good! Am I drunk?!" Oh god. I donno how he ever was able to spit that crap out..
His blog is funny as hell, and his memories of each show are priceless :) - cubicledrone, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3Has the Enterprise survived a film since Star Trek II?
Enterprise F? lol? - DivisibleByZero, on 01/13/2008, -1/+4And here I was, wanting to remodel our whole society based on those Historical Documents
- Ramble, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3What are you talking about? She was never on TNG. She does alook a lot like Jeri Ryan though, who was on voyager.
- BeefBaron, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3Also considering he originally had a role at the wedding party in Nemesis which was filmed but cut out in the release, it seems noone cares much for canon regarding his character.
- Kronos6948, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3They'd have to find a way to bring Sisko back from the founders. That'd be the hardest part.
- Dorian822, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3Kind of wish they could move forward with this as a show. The first married Star Trek Captain, get some good writers, put it on a network that won't cancel it when it's trying to set it's tone properly. But that is just straight up dreamin', my friends.
- crossmr, on 01/13/2008, -0/+2you think the DS9 crew is any less long in the tooth? It included two TNG cast members, and started before TNG was even finished. If you want to avoid long in the tooth you might get lucky with Voy or you'd have to go enterprise.
- Tetraca, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2Because the blind man could read children's books.
- slayerab, on 01/13/2008, -0/+2Isn't Star Trek the show with the car with the red light thing on the front?
- chi1thook, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2His blog host sold porn
- enchantedsky, on 01/13/2008, -0/+2Also, if you buy Nemesis on DVD, the Full-screen version, Wil Wheaton is cut out completely at Riker's wedding. You need the wide-screen version to see him
