- MikeonTV, on 05/30/2008, -5/+167But how would Einstein explain Hurley beating the ghost of Mr Echo at chess?
- Wailord, on 05/31/2008, -16/+129To anyone complaining about it being TiVoed...if the LOST finale isn't your top priority, you deserve it.
That is all. - mywhitenoise, on 05/30/2008, -1/+104Probably something like this "Eko sucks at chess".
- tattertech, on 05/31/2008, -4/+94Actually, if it all checks out with Quantum Physics - Einstein would *not* have approved.
- marcusgfunk, on 05/31/2008, -14/+88LOST = best show ever!
- phrenzy, on 05/31/2008, -2/+65Wow. People who don't like Lost posting in threads to make fun of them for "wasting time"?
We get it. You're too smart / sophisticated / busy for Lost. That's nice. Now, ***** off. - mywhitenoise, on 05/31/2008, -7/+70They revealed they had to move the island 2 weeks ago.
- goonbaggins, on 05/31/2008, -1/+50I feel like throwing my crackpot Lost theory out:
Jin is not dead, Locke told Sun this, and that is why she wants Widmore to help her find the island. - DetpackJump, on 05/31/2008, -3/+49We've known for 2 weeks that the island was going to be moved
- invertedworld, on 05/31/2008, -35/+72Thanks for the spoiler.
- mark076h, on 05/30/2008, -1/+31ok maybe that all makes sense now i want to know how Ben winds up in the Tunisian desert?
- Ro4ddog, on 05/31/2008, -33/+63Bury for the huge spoiler in the title. Dammit, some of us Tivo that *****.
- Sogui, on 05/31/2008, -8/+34SPOILERS IN THE REPLIES!
- mrinsanity, on 05/31/2008, -1/+23I was working during the finale. I came home, refreshed tvtorrents until it was up, played crysis for like 20 minutes and it was done downloading. I watched it. I didn't look at digg, I turned off my phone and IM. Spoiler-free. If I can do it, you can.
- benecere, on 05/31/2008, -0/+22Ben lies ..... a lot.
(Or in Ben's words, he "hasn't been exactly truthful") - Ryan2845, on 05/31/2008, -0/+19Or, Locke told Sun that it was Ben that caused Jin's death, and she wants to give widmore the island to get revenge on Ben
- ralphie81, on 05/31/2008, -0/+18Damn space-time continuum.
- offput, on 05/31/2008, -11/+29And you're behind by four hours? You've passed the statute of limitation on spoilers.
- CrimsonBlur, on 05/31/2008, -0/+17If the article made sense to you, then you already have your answer...
- benecere, on 05/31/2008, -1/+17Magical or mysterious islands! Really. How stupid.
Only idiots who'd read dolts like Jonathan Swift, Joseph Conrad, Jules Verne, JM Barry. Aldous Huxley. Homer, Shakespeare and Umberto Eco would want to waste time on such a thing. - SteveIsTheDude, on 05/31/2008, -3/+19Best ***** TV show, ever. Hands down.
- samfishercell, on 05/31/2008, -1/+17I somewhat agree, but the rest of the world is at least on ""There's No Place Like Home, Part 2." The island moving was mentioned in Cabin Fever, which we all should have seen by now.
Besides, if you were REALLY worried about getting spoiled, would you click on the story and go make a comment in the comment section and risk further spoiling? probably not.
Quit whining. - benecere, on 05/31/2008, -0/+15The bears were being trained for something (recall: fish biscuit) IF moving the island means never returning, polar bears may have been trained to turn the wheel. Hence, Charlotte finds the remains of a polar bear in .... TA DUM ...... Tunisia!
- alx1507, on 05/31/2008, -0/+15Or Ben already talked to Sun and he told her to use Widmore to help them all get back to the island, and Jins death is just a convenient cover for why she wants to go back.
But since this is Lost, Sun is probably really locke dressed up as Sun, and he killed Sun and dressed her up as Locke and put her in the coffin, and now he is pregnant and had to get off the island. That theory is more logical for the Lost world. - offput, on 05/31/2008, -2/+16If you were truly looking to avoid Lost stories, then the title - which reveals nothing new beyond what we learned at the end of "Cabin Fever" - should have made you realize you shouldn't read it.
- tcpip4lyfe, on 05/31/2008, -3/+17Don't read this if you haven't seen it.
If Lock actually dies I am going to stop watching. I ***** love that guy even though all my friends hate him. - benecere, on 05/31/2008, -0/+13But ..... we knew two weeks ago that they were going to move the island. 'Cause, you know, Locke came out of the cabin and said "We need to move the island". Right?
So, I don't think that part was a big surprise or anything. Maybe you're just in a bad mood. - odaen, on 05/31/2008, -0/+13The centre of the island was orginally at one of the poles of the earth and was moved to a more tropical climate, more specifically directly under the path of the black rock. This is why moving the Island it potentially dangerous, there is no controlling exactly where it ends up, and it could turn up in a different climate, time, or even in land.
Charles Whitmore also moved it at one point. - Maxamegalon2000, on 05/31/2008, -0/+13Dude, moving the island isn't anywhere near the ending. You're still good.
- PhrosTT, on 05/31/2008, -2/+13I'm glad something somewhat intellectual actually hit the front page. And no that's not sarcasm if you RTFA.
I guess if the wormhole entrance was once in the arctic that would explain the polar bears. - CrimsonBlur, on 05/31/2008, -0/+11Sun's desperation to find her husband doesn't require Locke or anyone else telling her he is alive (or convincing her he is dead). The fact that she didn't actually see him die and the weirdness that's already happened (like the island just disappearing) has probably convinced her that unless she sees Jin's dead body sitting in a pool of blood, she has to expend every resource at her disposal to find him. That doesn't rule out Locke speaking to her and telling her that, but I don't think it's necessary.
Widmore is apparently the only person on the planet with the knowledge and resources to actually find the island, and it took him decades. Penny never actually found it, she just got lucky with the distress signal and basically floated around and came upon the raft. I'm sure Sun probably just thinks an alliance with Widmore to find the island will make her search for Jin easier, everything else be damned. - samfishercell, on 05/31/2008, -0/+11I look forward to hearing about why you think WWE Smackdown is a superior experience. That will probably be a great read.
- Akraz, on 05/31/2008, -0/+10or maybe he also turned them off so he wont be distracted you *****?
- kickcows, on 05/31/2008, -4/+14and why is the magnet, or whatever it is, frozen? do you need to be extremely cold to time warp? i guess that makes a bit of sense, since the delorean is always freezing when it comes out of time travel...
- avsfan987, on 05/31/2008, -1/+10Buy the season 1 DVD, sit down on the couch with plenty of food and water needed for a long TV watching session, and press play. I am willing to bet you won't be able to turn it off.
That was pretty much my experience. - Skitals, on 05/31/2008, -1/+10It doesn't explain why if Ben moves the island, he would never be able to return. If he has all the physics figured out, and is able to assist everyone getting back to the island, why can't he go back himself? And why do they all need to go back TOGETHER? The island WONT LET Jack go alone!
There is more than just science going on here. - anonymous1986, on 05/31/2008, -0/+9Einstein had nothing against quantum mechanics the theory, his only problem was with it's interpretation (the proposed Copenhagen interpretation which basically involves Schrodinger's cat and non-locality as it's consequences). He proposed a hidden variable in quantum theory since he was uncomfortable with the idea that the universe was not deterministic.
- WallnutBoy, on 05/31/2008, -1/+9***** sake I live in the UK, we don't get it until Sunday. Its like a weekly thing for me to torrent the ep on a friday, watch it when i get home. It is NOT hard to avoid seeing spoilers.. Quit your whining, stop looking at friggin' Lost articles.. We've known for a while now that the island was to be moved, and its not like thats the ONLY thing that happens in the finale - so sit tight.
This is worse than when people were upset that a digg title revealed Charlie had died last year.. -_- - Rotzooi, on 05/31/2008, -3/+11USA! USA! USA!
- thall, on 05/31/2008, -1/+9Maybe it's kept cold intentionally to turn certain parts into super conductors.
- teddyrux, on 05/31/2008, -0/+7Thanks for ruining Dr Who for me!
- mywhitenoise, on 05/31/2008, -0/+7Actually they did, that ***** was explained a long time ago.
- benecere, on 05/31/2008, -0/+7No, why do you ask?
- goonbaggins, on 05/31/2008, -0/+7I believe the grave yard scene happened before Locke started showing up
- imightbewrong, on 05/31/2008, -0/+6i didnt start watching till a year ago and the i got completely caught up in a week. Its soo good. just go for it you wont be dissapointed
- benroy, on 05/31/2008, -2/+8***** Einstein & ***** Lost?
Really?
Maybe you should go check out ebaum's world. - charbo187, on 05/31/2008, -1/+7ya he "seemed" like he was on Locke's side, other times he seemed like he didn't need or care about Locke at all. Ben just uses everyone even his daughter. When Ben killed Keamy and screamed "You killed my daughter!" it was so phoney and then when Locke asked him "Why did u just kill everyone on the freighter?" and Ben responded "O sometimes your emotions just get in the way" in such a phoney way.
- Cerebral, on 05/31/2008, -0/+6What... CHARLIE DIED!!!!!
Thanks for the spoiler warning!!!!
/sarcasm
I both agree and disagree with the torrent thing. Sure you can DL the torrent but I know I would rather watch LOST in HD on my 50" tv than on my computer or even divx on my TV... it's not the same.
I also agree that all you need to do is disconnect yourself from everything until it comes on etc. Besides like everyone has already said you knew that the plan was to move the island. I guess there could have been a situation that they could have failed but honestly so what you found out they moved the island. That doesn't mean that you have any idea as to what happened before/after/during etc. It isn't a spoiler. Some of the comments here however are. So stay out of the comments! - Klowner, on 05/31/2008, -0/+6Yes, and Aaron is actually Locke's reincarnated soul from the future
- Cumella, on 05/31/2008, -0/+6Checkmate sir, checkmate.
