- Xenophix, on 10/12/2007, -43/+2I never saw it, but I trust Adult Swim in so far as quality programming goes. Although I'm not a fan of every show they have, I must admit that I can see why they may be popular and enjoyed.
- xeroskill, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27Way to Say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. (and a bit of contradiction)
oooo, since its on adult swim, maybe they will put all the violence & among other things that the original dub cut out. - illt, on 10/12/2007, -18/+4blah, voltron....where the hell is KORGOTH!?!
- devindotcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13What he meant was "Oh, HELL yes."
- No1nose, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3When is Robotech coming to Adultswim?

- halleyscomet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+34And it't the LION Voltron, not lame "Dozens of cars" Voltron!
YAHOOOO!
Suck it Power Rangers. Suck it you damn copy cats. Suck it long and suck it hard.- craterburnsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Agreed! Voltron Rocks! i have all the DVDs already, but it's still good to know my favorite child hood Show will now be spread to many others!
- graemee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6IMO Voltron was a clone of Gatchaman, aa G-force aka Battle of the planets from good ole 72.
- gabrielwalker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Dude, you do know that Voltron was heavily based on the anime "Five Lion" (GoLion), which was animated by Toei, right?
Toei. You know. The company that created "Super Sentai" - that Saban lifted and turned into Power Rangers for Fox? (Only to sell to Disney.)
Given that they combined series, threw out much of the violence and drama of the Japanese original, completely re-wrote much of the dialogue, AND it was about a group of robots that could combine into one big robot -- Voltron IS Power Rangers. Just animated. ;) - YumYumKittyLoaf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I remeber when voltron and Ronin Warriors back in the old toonami days. Voltron is good, i liked it, but man i'd love to see thundercats again on tv.
- daurkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Power rangers is a mix of Voltron and Ultraman in my opinion. look at Youtube
- wildjohn999, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Vehicle Voltron is WAY better than Lion Voltron.
VV:
1. Blue aliens
2. Spaceship base that could land in oceans
3. Land Air Sea teams
4. More weapons: whip, spinner hand blades, lasers, and sword
5. Better story
6. Better alien enemies
7. Land Air Sea teams could combine into larger ships that could then transform into Voltron
LV:
1. Lame because of Kip
2. Lame because of Rocky
3. Lame because of Princess
4. Lame because of lions
Regardless, I'll watch either but I hope Adult Swim shows both shows.

The only thing I watch is Adult Swim. The times they put ***** in the prime weeknight slots (Mission Hill? Pee Wee?) cause me distress. Williams Street? Hello? Just show more Family Guy reruns if you don't have anything else to do. ATHF retrospective? Fine. When you show ***** on weeknights, I just put in a ATHF disc and hit "play all" anyway.
Except season four, because you assed that disc set up with the stupid Play All that shows all of the eps at the same time in thumbnails. Funny until I realized there was no way to get around it. I play these things in my sleep to give me a reason to wake up. Stop screwing with me. Thank you.- InetRoadkill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5[as]'s weeknight lineup sucks. I mean how many times can you sit thru the same old stale re-runs? The problem is that williams street has mostly run dry on ideas. They did score a hit with the introduction of Frisky Dingo however.
Whoever was responsible for the PeeWee Herman re-runs needs to be beaten to death. - zephc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know, [as] ran PeeWee's Playhouse as "Your Childhood" and while the show was on in my childhood, I never really liked it. It wasn't actually funny, and wasn't a cartoon. The only time I watched it was because it was on like 11 or noon saturday mornings, when I wasn't yet ready to give up my weekly saturday morning cartoon mini-marathon (which started at 6 or 7 AM every saturday).
Bring back The Real Ghostbusters!

Voltron Represent! Daaaamn! - emorphien, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hot damn I remember loving this show as a kid.
- revansii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Something else to add to my Tivo schedule!
- revansii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Now they just need to bring back Silver Hawks and Thundercats.
- albinoMithos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If they got all of that and added transformers I think Id actually watch TV more.
- wildjohn999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Don't forget about C.O.P.S. and Transformers.
But not that god awful new 3D Transformers or Gobots. - revansii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We might as well throw in the original He-Man and Airwolf.
- fatbat70, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here's an uberchannel with voltron video and other adult swim eisodes:
http://www.uberchannel.com/channel/82 - goat2, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1fantastic, more bad programming.
AS needs more aqua teen, korgoth, harvey birdman, etc etc. - emacs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i wonder if Adult Swim will be airing the digitally restored / remastered version. i purchased the first DVD set
http://www.amazon.ca/Voltron-Vol-1-Defender-Universe/dp/B000FUTV64/sr=1-3/qid=1163275779/ref=pd_bowtega_3/702-5353883-5678445?ie=UTF8&s=dvd
as was quite pleased with the visual (and, to some extent, the audio) improvements.- daurkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes. I watched it and it's been enhanced.
- diecastbeatdown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i was stoked when i saw the dvds came out a few months ago. now its going back on tv, sweet!

BLASHEMY!!!! May the flying spaghetti monster have mercy on your soul. - RobotKing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hope they show the original uncut version with the episodes that never aired in the states. If they show the Mazinger Z series on Adult Swim they are gods, they did have him on robot chicken once.
- bigfkncee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1which voltron?the five-lion version (i hope)or that 15 piece land-sea-air thing?
- bblades, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Voltron was one of my childhood favorites. Back in the day when anime was just called crazy japanese cartoons.
- TJENN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is awesome! I love Voltron. I remember watching that when I was young and actually having the 12" metal Voltron action figure. I carried and played with that everywhere I went. Wish I still had it.
- kberrien, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Voltron is nice, but I second the previous posters call for Robotech. A far better series!
- Eleo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And Adult Swim continues to cash in on the cheapest programming possible.
Come on, guys. Pee-wee Herman? Super Milk-Chan? - positron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Let's go Voltron Force!
- BevansDesign, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2At the risk of getting dugg down, I have just this to say:
"Meh." - 0nslaught, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tranzor Z!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazinger_Z- RobotKing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Mazinger Z is a great if not thee greatest of the super robots genre.
- Drexel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1BRING BACK "MIGHTY ORBOTS"!!!!
- fiver22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Warning: The Following Post is Completely Cathartic: My dad worked for a local TV station that aired Voltron way back when and I remember constantly haranguing him about the order that the episodes aired. -He had nothing to do with this but sent me to talk to the Program Manager (keep in mind that I was just a little kid). I went to the guy and told him how the episodes were being aired out of sequence -he listened patiently and explained how TV (tv at this little piss-ant station) worked -It was an education. The issue was never really resolved -they kept airing them out of sequence -but I have the memories of ragging out my Dad and the tutoring of this Program Manager, so I'm pretty happy that Voltron got aired out of sequence here. .
- fatbat70, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0By the way, iif you guys have any clips of adultswim, I am currently building an archive @ http://www.uberchannel.com/channel/82
You can post your vid or link it from google or youtube directly.
Thanks! - Harbinger-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was thinking, "How is this news? Voltron has been on CN before." Indeed, most of the shows mentioned in the comments (Robotech, Thundercats, etc) have been. Then, I realized that was 10 YEARS ago. Then, I remembered watching all of them when they first aired in the '80s.
God, I'm old. - TheSwagger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hell yeah. A classic.
- justgotdarker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now, if they'd just bring "Daikû maryû Gaikingu" better known as Gaiking.
I watched it growing up in Germany on armed forces network.
And if they don't, does anyone have a copy of them?
BYW.... Starblazers was another awesome show.
