Sounds like the X-Files meets Buffy to me, but with a high probability for tedious "Sex in the City" style relationship "humor". Everyone's horny and sadistic (and tada, cliche) and the main character is totally who the author wishes she was, 20 years younger. And here, Hamilton is getting even more money, after taking a big dump on the comics industry by having comic books published for the same series.
