- tmyprod, on 06/04/2009, -1/+82It's almost like Fox wants people to discover and use bit-torrent.
- snatchmstr, on 06/04/2009, -2/+68Fox is never going to air these episodes? That is pretty ***** greedy to release the last 2 episodes on dvd only after people watched the rest of the season already. Was this known by viewers ahead of time? I think not! THIS is why p2p is so popular.
- randomchar, on 06/03/2009, -3/+39dugg for Breaking Bad making the list.
...most underrated show on TV right now. - IceX, on 06/04/2009, -2/+281st season and half of the 2nd were good, then it all went downhill.
- RUFiO006, on 06/04/2009, -3/+25*****.
- ZhiZaki, on 06/03/2009, -1/+18Behold the power of decentralized content sharing....
- 662drsdn, on 06/04/2009, -1/+17I cant believe they weren't going to air these episodes and make people buy the dvd, i had no idea there were two more episodes, off to download them now!! :)
- clone206, on 06/04/2009, -2/+18This show got real bad real fast. I hope these episodes are better than the last one Fox aired. Yeah, I'll probably still download them anyway after investing so much time in the show early on.
- MeatMountain, on 06/04/2009, -4/+13This show is still on? How many prisons is this guy going to have to break out of before he learns his lesson?
- AmyVernon, on 06/04/2009, -0/+8Truth. That finale was AWEsome.
- Soonago, on 06/04/2009, -1/+9Dugg for alerting me to its availability online.
- ALink2ThePast, on 06/04/2009, -2/+9The BEST show on TV right now
- VinnieDaMac, on 06/04/2009, -0/+7Didn't know this was available already....As for the show, I loved the first season, second season was okay, and I just felt obligated to watch seasons 3 and 4. The fact that it's over is kinda bitter sweet. I enjoyed the show in general, but it just got really repetitive towards the end.
- xsecretfiles, on 06/04/2009, -3/+10..but he's pretty ;)
- toekneebullard, on 06/04/2009, -2/+9This is why so many shows are failing. No one wants to get invested in a TV show now, because they know it will be canceled half way through the season. This is why serial shows are so popular. Law and Order doesn't have any sort of over-arching plot (ok, but barely) so you don't have to be worried about getting involved in something and then they quit on you.
It's like the networks have ADD and are completely freaking out about making cash. Which is odd, cause I work in the commercial traffic business, and the networks treat their sponsors like it's a privileged to have your commercial aired. - dagnabbit, on 06/04/2009, -0/+7I was disappointed with the aired finale. They are finally cleared by....filing paperwork with the UN? Um, not much of a climax. Then it ends with a total downer in the next scene. Felt ripped off.
- MisterMajusty, on 06/04/2009, -0/+7As much as I hate to see spoilers like that (if it is a spoiler), it actually piqued my interest. Rather, sometimes spoilers add to my interest because I find that the road traveled is far more interesting than the destination.
- MisterMajusty, on 06/04/2009, -0/+6I'm hoping that this opens the eyes of TV Network execs that releasing television shows as digital content as a viable and also profitable medium. Television shows should be free, there will be ads inside episodes like the way Hulu implements them already. They can also provide a subscription based service, which allow people to download and watch episodes early and commercial free. Seeing that these prime time Fox shows are still a separate entity from the conservative Fox News network, I'm hoping they would see the light that this is the future of entertainment.
- snatchmstr, on 06/04/2009, -1/+6It's not a separate product. It is a way to screw their loyal fans into buying what should have aired in the first place. The Family Guy movie did air as 2 episodes and sex and the city was a movie and not part of a season. Download away!!
- Malarie, on 06/04/2009, -1/+6Are you better than him at what you do?
- shicken, on 06/04/2009, -1/+6I'm not going to comment on how good or bad it is, but it fills certain gaps within the story.
- Allan850, on 06/04/2009, -1/+6The completed loop to the pink teddy bear in the pool at the end was one of the better wrap-ups to a season in recent memory.
- Barr08, on 06/04/2009, -0/+5The last episode of the Sopranos was quite good.
- T8erT0T, on 06/04/2009, -1/+5Breaking Bad is too legit to quit.
- GuyDanger, on 06/04/2009, -0/+4Ya, seems like everytime I like a show they cancel it...why Fox? What did I do to you?
- bpeacock22, on 06/04/2009, -1/+5For a show that was supposed to be a one time summer timeslot filler and became a 4 season wild ride, I loved it...but I'm also glad it is over. Some of the plot situations were so ridiculous, even the actors were like "yah this show is pretty far-fetched." Once they got a full season nod back then, the writers have always seemed to be in a perpetual state of "how do we get ourselves out of THIS situation and into something ELSE that will take 10 episodes to resolve." Rinse. Repeat.
- SketchaMPM, on 06/04/2009, -1/+5I felt the same way. 'Final Break' is much more satisfying however, I think you'll enjoy it.
- cl2yp71c, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3No, he died of electric shock, torrent the last two episodes.
- Pottersquash, on 06/04/2009, -1/+4anyone watch? is it any good?
- Meocross, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3Yep while we love awesome shows to last "forever" there is no point when the stuff that made them popular in the first place gets blown out the window
- h0ser, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3This wrap up is great. It goes back to the shows roots and takes place in Prison!
This is the only way the show should have been, breaking out of prison\helping someone else get out. - inactive, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3And the bodies next to his house... whose bodies are they?
- Laughto, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3It was actually a surprisingly good episode.
Really, it had all the characteristic flaws everyone who watches Prison Break knows about. For some reason they were still using the apartment set the Company seemed to be running itself out of in the second half of season 4 (as opposed to that little side office with a lift and two guards that made up The Company in the rest of season 4). And the scene in which the prison guards gang up on Sara in the style of a southern lynch mob for completely mystifying reasons was pretty ridiculous. Not to mention the stupidly predictable parachute scene (they've done that same 'red herring' trick pretty much every other episode of Prison Break since series 1)
But it was actually a well paced episode with a lot going for it. Apparently the writers have been sitting on this 'women's prison idea' for ages so you could see they already had some ideas knocking about for it. It featured (the actor for) Sara's best work in the entire series, I'd like to see her in something where she isn't so inexplicably reserved the whole time. The ending was even almost touching. A pretty good post-finale episode, I'd say. - zip000, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3I just watched the first episode of Breaking Bad last night...looks like it could be a pretty good show.
- techlinks, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3While I agree the second half of season 2 was not the best, season 3 really brought it back. I haven't watched 4 yet, I'm waiting for the DVDs.
- fistandoodle, on 06/05/2009, -0/+2So the "finale" I watched on Fox, back when it aired, isn't REALLY the "finale." They REAL "finale" is being sold on DVD, as a 2-hour direct-to-DVD movie? So all the advertising about the "finale" on TV was just bull? Bah.
- whiledo, on 06/04/2009, -3/+5We should keep in mind that being a "hit" on bittorrent doesn't actually mean the episodes were rated highly. It means that a large group of people wanted to see them, and that's about it. There's a weird phenomenon where people will watch a show even if it goes downhill just so they can have some sense of completion.
I'm sure the last episode of the Sopranos was a "hit" on BT, too. - Meocross, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2P heych P
- toekneebullard, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2I'll admit I'm not familiar with this particular show (I did wonder how long someone could break out of prison), but none the less, there's plenty of other shows that fit the mold.
- SketchaMPM, on 06/04/2009, -1/+3It was good, far better than the crappy 'finale' episode.
- missourimobile, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2Thanks... My self-esteem is much lower now...
- nonymous666, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2I had read about the episodes a couple weeks before the series finale. And I think I had read that the plan was for Fox to air them as 'specials' during the summer months.
- ZzFDKzZ, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2LMAO!
- ZeeZee2k, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2Cuz they hate you.
- ZzFDKzZ, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2Read the title... FINALE
- deema1, on 06/04/2009, -1/+3Let me guess. The main character whispers "You're going to have to trust me" all episode long. Right?
- slapded, on 06/04/2009, -2/+4does it answer what the company actually is? I felt as if i wasted 4 seasons
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -11/+13Wentworth Miller is one god awful actor.
- reed311, on 06/04/2009, -2/+4What are you talking about? Prison Break had four seasons and the finale that aired on television wrapped up the story line. The show was absolutely terrible by the end of it. It was not canceled halfway through the season. The show had run its course by the middle of the second season.
- Nothlit, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2I seem to recall that the excuse the guards gave for beating Sara up was that she gave them all a bad name (as prison employees) when she aided Michael's escape in season 1. Why a group of Miami prison guards would really be affected by what had happened in an Illinois prison is a little far fetched, but maybe there was some additional scrutiny given to them that they didn't appreciate.
