U.S. Military: Television Series ‘24’ Is Promoting Torture In The Ranks

thinkprogress.org — The U.S. military believes the television show 24 is sending inappropriate messages to the troops condoning torture: "The United States Military Academy at West Point yesterday confirmed that Brig. Gen. Patrick Finnegan recently traveled to California to meet producers of the show" and told them it "was having a damaging effect on young troops."
