- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -4/+58For you yanks (and other non-UK people) that don't get BBC Two, I will post it up on YouTube when it comes up.
- Boofster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+37YouTube quality is *****. Who wants to see nice cars with 90% MPEG splotches.
Torrent FTW! Just have to wait a bit. A big thanks to our UK hax0rs for hooking it up. - Eastlygod, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36Along with about 100,000 other people, but thanks anyway!
- sceebacny, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17http://www.finalgear.com/ - Great website, and it has previews of the new episode.
- Hecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Clarkson is having a moan about youtube in today's Sunday Times. His article is here http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2092-2568361,00.html
Still, it's a welcome return to Top Gear and The Hamster. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+117mins left to wait, heheheheeheh
UK > yanks :) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11http://finalgear.com is a good source for all your Topgear / Fifthgear info.
- JessCoffman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9American here, I defiantly watch it. I like the perspective outside the SUV & Truck filled U.S. market. Plus the cast is great.
- benbread, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9You have to love Clarksons take on Jade Goody "Racist, Pig faced waste of blood and organs" could not better describe her.
- ThirstyFerret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You gotta hand it to the guy, he's done remarkably well.
I'll be tuning in, for sure. - Wuffles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Ah, good to have it back. I'm glad Richard Hammond pulled through.
- pritch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6That was quite some crash, it must be said.
I've just gone and managed to dig out (from Wikipedia) a reference to Jonathon Ross's interview with Hammond, where he revealed that if one of them died filming, all three presenters agreed that after it was mentioned on the show the next word spoken would be "Anyway...", followed by a return to talking about cars. - Hecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Did anyone catch what someone in the audience shouted out towards the end? The audience cheered in response but I couldn't hear what was said.
Harrowing stuff anyway. Hammond's prescient comments before the crash were very spooky. - ThickFog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Man I wish we had the show in Canada,, best car show on TV that i know
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Torrent here:
http://www.mininova.org/tor/561772 - DarkTrancer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Do a lot of people outside of UK actually watch Top Gear?
Every-time i talk to some of my American friends they always go on about how crappy our cars are and nothing beats V8s.
Could there be a revolution going on? - mousy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Its on at 20:00 (GMT) BBC Two for anyone that wants to watch.
- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5R313453: Why the hurry? I'm doing it as a service, seems you're doing it for the fame...
- covertbadger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The last 10 minutes of that were pretty damn harrowing. Listening to some of the things Hammond said on the day whilst shooting the footage...and fair play to him for sitting in front of the TV and watching it with Clarkson and May, and even commentating on it. Not sure if I could have faced it.
- covertbadger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Was he welling up a bit?"
No, he was quite jovial about it - so much so that Clarkson was able to openly mock him for not noticing the damage to the tyre in the seconds before it blew out, as they replayed the whole crash in slow-motion. They even showed footage from the cockpit cam - focussed right on Hammond's face - when the car went off the track and started rolling, right up until the point that the cam was apparently smashed by contact with the ground. I wish all TV was as unflinching and honest as that. They held nothing back.
Hammond even smiled when, on the footage just before the near-fatal run, he was shouting into the camera about how adrenalised he was and how alive he felt. Those were nearly his last words... - JohnP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I just quickly caught it off-screen. Here it is guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE48cdhObMg
( Please wait if it isnt processed yet! - Its not under my control. ) - pritch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Was he welling up a bit?
Not that I can blame him, mind. Fair play to the bloke for:
a) Having the courage to get in the car in the first place
b) Recovering so quickly
c) Getting back on with his job, almost as if nothing had happened - Juano11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah man, I've watched every episode of every season and I live in Kentucky. The TG guys have an obvious bias for the English cars...but it's still a GREAT GREAT show. The political incorrectness of the show in general and Clarkson specifically is particularly enjoyable and is not something we get to see on the TV mush here in the states.
- FcukDt7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Video on BBC (Realplayer): http://tinyurl.com/2z82e4
- SillyDigger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You can download the higher quality torrent @ http://eztvefnet.org/ or http://www.mininova.org/tor/561772
- blindsidedude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3holy! that crash was pretty crazy, what did the person at the ending (in the audience) say?
- voyou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The British are great! Great humor and that sounds exactly like what the guys from Top Gear would do.
- tektalk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6"please BBC, air it!, air my death!"
-Alex Albrecht - nigelelliott394, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3regardless of parts of it being a bit boring, i'm just glad the show is back on air and that hamster is ok! that's what we should be thankful for.
- neave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What got to me was how at the end of the run before his crash, he was pumped with adrenalin and saying "I'm alive!! I'm so alive!! I've never felt so alive!!" ... if he'd had died in the crash those would have been some of his very last words...
So great to see the hamster back. - tacom8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2we do it's on BBC canada...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sadly the only thing they show to us yanks are reedited OLD shows. Gotta get them through bit torrent sadly.
- ninwest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2damn i get the bbc on digicable here in Chicago but its not on the schedule
- Dibbz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah but it came to a stop amazingly quick considering it was doing barrel roles at 230mph.
Glad everything has turned out ok for Hammond though, and its good to see Top Gear back on. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Woohoo! Long live the hamster!
- GenVoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2just got done watching it. amazing. i love that show.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Apart from the crash footage, really disappointing episode.
- *Ica*, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2LOL he's not called Tiffany Dell, its Tiff Needel.... unless you were joking there, in which case, sorry!
- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ok mine is finally up, and surprisingly good quality for YouTube...

Still processing, will be available shortly. - suppazone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/872651/1084237/
- Nitesh9999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was brilliant.
But on the whole a slowish start to the series. Too much time on that road works stuff.
Oh and i'd take the Aston over the Jag every day of the week.
Looking forward to next week. :) - Just, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2that one in the bbc just wont play
thousands of people trying it probably - bigteebo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The torrent will probably go up abotu 6 hours after it airs. There are devoted vidrippers just as there are for Doctor Who, thankfully.
- Hecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@*Ica*
Yes, the 'Tiffany' thing was my attempt at humo(u)r. Also - before anyone points it out - I know he's no longer on Top Gear.
OK episode, but the road resurfacing thing was a bit dull. - sudonim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The turnaround for the next season of Top Gear will probably be a couple of weeks. They have been showing the most recent season up untl now so I would assume that the will get the new season. It's on like 4 times during the weekend.
- ThickFog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Damm.. Post here if it plays on BBC Canada
- Spelvin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Torrents up on EZTV
- voyou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for letting us know!
