- funkymonkey01, on 02/02/2009, -1/+58Get me a hacksaw FTW
- SKLOKAZOID, on 02/02/2009, -1/+52George Mason piloting a nuclear bomb and saving everyone should be on there. I still think that's one of the best 24 episodes after all these years.
- irfanmp, on 02/02/2009, -0/+41I never knew whether or not to hate Nina for being such a bitch or to like her for killing off Terri Bauer, the most annoying character on that show.
- AmyVernon, on 02/02/2009, -1/+42I realized after I subbed it, though, that there was one significant event missing: David Palmer's assassination (and subsequent shilling for Allstate).
- gsadamb, on 02/03/2009, -0/+40I'm pretty sure that the single most jaw-dropping moment the entire series was when Jack kills Ryan Chappelle. I just kept thinking that something would happen to keep him from going through with it.
- anthonylam, on 02/03/2009, -0/+26What about that time when Jack played Russian Roulette and won?
- jasej1, on 02/02/2009, -0/+25"I shot her above the knee! She can still walk!" isn't on the list :(
- anklesnap, on 02/02/2009, -1/+23we know any loves 24 when that's her profile pic! hahah.....great moment choices on 24 though. Dugg!
- madpainter, on 02/02/2009, -0/+18Some of these are great choices, like the hacksaw and Edgar, some are pretty lame.
What about when Jack kills a guy, while he handcuffed, by biting the guy's jugular vein? Best moment ever.
Or how about when he shot a guy's wife in the leg to make the guy talk?
Or when he shot Curtis?
So many great moments. - theplat, on 02/03/2009, -0/+16how can you have this list, and not include russian roulette in prison?
- NiLeS, on 02/03/2009, -1/+16"Did you know that 24 was originally planned to be a romantic comedy showing 24 hours in the life of a wedding?"
[citation needed] - eschatonik, on 02/03/2009, -0/+13What? No irradiated George Mason flying the nuke-loaded Cessna into the Nevada desert?
- slightlyoffbeat, on 02/03/2009, -0/+12when he bites the guy in the neck. That was awesome. We all jumped out of our seats.
- irfanmp, on 02/02/2009, -0/+9That season was filled with insane moments. Deaths of President Palmer, Michelle Dessler and Edgar Stiles, President Logan turns out to be a bad guy and Jack gets kidnapped by the Chinese government. I guess they left out Palmer's assassination from the list to prevent it from being a Season 5 recap.
- Smokeythebandit, on 02/02/2009, -0/+9Kim gets off being more annoying because she's hotter?
- mGARANDEUR1, on 02/03/2009, -0/+9Lame. What about the time Jack gave himself up and was being tortured and ended up biting the guys jugular vein. Badass.
- redsoxmb545, on 02/03/2009, -0/+9What about Jack cutting off Chase's arm with an axe?
- gsadamb, on 02/03/2009, -0/+9How can we forget Kim + Cougar?
It was more like infamous, but still very memorable. - emazur, on 02/02/2009, -0/+8It was also quite a moment when the nuke went off in CA. Season 6 got off to a great start - certainly not the best season but really good opening episodes.
- prunch, on 02/02/2009, -0/+8Damn Dirty Moles!!!
- AmyVernon, on 02/02/2009, -0/+8Yeah, I guess that's true. To be honest, I'd forgotten Edgar's death was Season 5, too. I had it in my head it was Season 4, but of course it was 5, b/c of the nerve gas. I'd forgotten how awesome that season actually was.
- cowsgonemadd3, on 02/03/2009, -0/+8Amy
- peteyb1313, on 02/03/2009, -2/+8I'd do Nina
- inactive, on 02/03/2009, -0/+6Kim, The Cougar and the Underground Bunker.
Followed by Kim the Suddenly Talented CTU Technician. - jcsoc, on 02/03/2009, -2/+7I liked the part with the terrorists
- Neolite, on 02/03/2009, -0/+5I think the greatest most emotionally shocking moment is when Jack lets Audrey’s husband Paul die from a gun shot wound that saved Jack's life. If you don't fully remember, Jack orders medical staff to save the life of the gunman to gain information instead of saving the life of an innocent Paul.
If you break down this single event, you basically can understand what type of person he is. His line of work is so demanding that he chooses it to save the lives of millions of people over the emotions of the people that he loves. It was so shocking to watch Audrey go from deeply loving Jack to hating him which such disgust. - wmute, on 02/03/2009, -0/+4When Milo got shot
- HyphySoul, on 02/03/2009, -0/+4I love this show...but goddammit it starts at the same time as Heroes tonight!
- EllimistX, on 02/03/2009, -0/+4"Tell me where the bomb is!"
"NO,NO,NO,NOOOOO!" - BinaryDelt, on 02/03/2009, -2/+6Turn in your man card...NOW.
- babyheadout, on 02/03/2009, -0/+4So would a Keifer / Shia movie just be a yelling contest?
- maqikelefant, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3Man, after 3 years or whatever it's been, it's not really a spoiler any more...
- WhatsUpWithJack, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3Chase's "hand job" at the end of S3??
President Palmer assassinated at the beginning of S5?
Jack shooting an interrogation suspect's wife in the leg to get information out of him?
The coliseum shootout?
Jack abducted by the Chinese Government in S5 finale?
Jack DIES... TWICE!!!
I mean come on, this list is nice, but hardly touches the best moments in 24's illustrious history. - BinaryDelt, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3If that wasn't on the list, I wasn't digging.
- eschatonik, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3Word. Great moment.
- inactive, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3That was the most awesome pwnage of the entire show.
- geezshock, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3"DAMMIT !!!!!! "
- drguerra, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3Get me a hacksaw was my favourite. I would also say when he meets Nina Meyers again, pretty shocking stuff. She was such a despicable villain. I think the only fictional character I hate more than Nina Meyers is Gaius Baltar from BSG.
But some memorable bits are missing, like when poor Michelle thinks she has anthrax or whatever that virus was, or when Almeida gets a needle and dies. Or when Mason flew the nuke into a valley. I just kinda miss David Palmer. Was such a good President.
Ahh 24... - Spo8, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2I long for the days when 24 was great.
Chloe killing somebody in any regard was fantastic. The fact that it was an assault rifle makes it that much better.
Also reminds me of Edgar dying. Pretty sad.
"I made it! I'm okay! /ded" - SFBWork, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2How about the time he put a bullet in a suspects wife's kneecaps just so he can get information?
- xjeffx, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2One of the few episodes where the counter was silent. It was chilling.
- spyd3rweb, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2That episode really nuked the fridge.
- passedoutghost, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2You mean with a semi-automatic?
- eschatonik, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2This scene was the biggest jaw-dropper for me.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2Digg is a news site?
- aenima987, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2No Elisha Cuthbert moments?
- xjeffx, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2Yes
- jcsoc, on 02/03/2009, -1/+3I did her
- Liste, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2"kill 198 people over the six-and-a-half series of the show"...
lol......You mean thousands of people. About 198 people died in one episode when the plane crashed. - Scape89, on 02/03/2009, -2/+4Spoilers in the description? Really?
