- ohnoerino, on 09/29/2008, -0/+32Mine is definitely Triumph. The part where he's interviewing the guy dressed up as Darth Vader and asks, "And, which one of these buttons calls your parents to come pick you up?" LOL!
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -2/+29my vote goes to Robot Chicken
- evilcaptain, on 09/29/2008, -1/+26Four words
Star Wars Holiday Special - acmaurer, on 09/29/2008, -1/+18i discovered this past weekend that two of my friends have NEVER seen Star Wars. that's so weird.
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -0/+16Definately Triumph! I almost wet myself everytime I watch it.
- Coven, on 09/30/2008, -0/+16Leia
- Maxjan, on 09/30/2008, -0/+14These aren't the top 10 moments you're looking for...
- casspa, on 09/29/2008, -8/+20Easily the Family Guy spoof
- darthsand, on 09/29/2008, -0/+11I disagree. I'd have to say the entirety of the 1977 Star Wars Christmas Special.
- Hetman, on 09/29/2008, -0/+11You know what is even worst. I know people who have seen the prequals but never the originial. It is really sad. I actually beleive that it ruins the whole star wars methos if you watch them in order.
- vango, on 09/29/2008, -1/+10triumph for president!
- d3s3rtdrag0n, on 09/30/2008, -1/+9What the hell''s an Aluminum Falcon?!
- Hetman, on 09/29/2008, -2/+10I liked when donna from that 70s show dressed up as leigh with the buns and the white dress. I never watched friends but I probably would have if I know that aniston dressed up as slave leigh. Furthermore I still think slave leigh is way hotter than portman could ever be in the prequels.
- ohnoerino, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8My roommate hasn't seen it either.
- skellener, on 09/30/2008, -1/+8Genndy's Clone Wars has been the best "Star Wars" since Return of the Jedi. Better than the prequels an better than the CG version that was out this summer.
- seansmyth, on 09/29/2008, -0/+6Digg for the SNL references. Loved the Kevin Spacey auditions.
- bowserkid, on 09/30/2008, -0/+5Whenever it was that Triumph interviewed the pregnant Star Wars fan.
- RapidEye, on 09/30/2008, -1/+6Aniston Leah was epic - I'll be in my bunk.....
- MillionsLivio, on 09/30/2008, -0/+5Never gets old:
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x115u4_triumph-th ... - twoyups, on 09/30/2008, -1/+5I think of the prequels and the originals as two separate entities of cinematography.
The originals still hold a lot of that old, black-and-white sci-fi feel, like the face-off in episode 6 between Darth Vadar and Luke. Vadar is this slow, ominous, fear-inducing robot, and Luke is Joe McEveryman.
In the future, it will take an appreciation for lackluster cinema to enjoy the originals. Hopefully, their value won't be lost when compared to the consumer-driven firework display that is the prequels. - Tbyrd073, on 09/30/2008, -0/+4True order is 4-5-6-1-2-3......Or if you like just 4-5-6.....
- mercano, on 09/30/2008, -0/+4Scrubs had a pretty good Star Wars daydream scene season 1; JD as Luke, Cox as Obi Wan, Kelso as Vader, Turk as Han, Janitor as Chewy, and Carla and Eliot both as Leia. (Were there any other named female characters in the original trilogy?)
- gametavern, on 09/30/2008, -1/+4Family guy special was lame... in episode spoofs are better.
- jotate, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3How can you rank something that hasn't been released yet in the top 5?
And, furthermore, what an horrible way to format a list. 11 clicks because the number one item got pushed to the second page of icons. - Hetman, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3I prefer just 4-5-6. I do not think the other three are horrible or anything. But I can still remember watching them both a new hope and an empire strikes back the first time. And I had no idea that vader was lukes dad and I can still remember that moment. And I was like 7 or 8 at the time. How I made it that old with out knowing anything about star wars is crazy but it was still very awesome to me as a kid.
- BillyboyNY, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3Personally I always liked the Muppet Show w/ Luke, Chewie, C3P0 and R2-D2 as guests...
- Tbyrd073, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3OK Jayne.
- Fleagleman, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3How can the upcoming live-action series be a top TV moment when it hasn't even happened yet? Hello? Did you see the prequels? Yes, it is possible for Lucas to lay some stink bombs on us.
Luke: "I don't presume to-"
Yoda: "But you DO. Revealed your true feelings are." - briguymaine, on 09/30/2008, -0/+3Meg's appearance was the best part for me.
- Firespray1138, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2The TIE Fighter scene where Peter hums the battle music, what Star Wars fan hasn't done that at least once when hearing that piece of music come on?
- RevAradia, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2That was great. I'd forgotten about some of the old ones. Fabulous article.
- Hetman, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2That was awesome. Because he was like that is the last vagina that kid is going to see for 30 years. Even though almost everyone I know regardless of who they are has seen starwars. But the joke is still funny,
- jedinate, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2When Triumph tells the pregnant SW fan to make sure her newborn son looks at her vagina on the way out, because it's the last time he'll see one for a long time, I almost peed myself laughing.
- Aanidaani, on 09/30/2008, -2/+4Yeah, the Family Guy was really lame and had only a few funny moments.
- nofate2029, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2The SNL skits were hillarious.
"Jawa? What the hell kind of movie is this?!" - armakaryk, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2i'd like to nominate for honorable mention the Melty-man confrontation from Coupling.
- Sakumi, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2lol quality reference.
- Firespray1138, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2I watched the whole Holiday Special, cringed most of the time. Then I saw the Clone Wars movie and now the Holiday Special is more tolerable.
- BrownManUPS, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2I tried sitting through the whole thing, but Jefferson Starship is just something I wouldn't sit for.
- BorsKaegel, on 09/30/2008, -0/+2Lumpy and his Wookie porno, anyone?
- inactive, on 09/30/2008, -2/+3How are those people still your friends? You should kill them.
- darkphenox, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1the clone wars series was NO1
- allisonaxe, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1if you must watch all 6, i prefer watching them in order of 4-5-1-2-3-6. we meet Luke, we meet Vader, we find out who Vader really is... then we get "flashed-back" to Vader's formative years and see him go bad and how everything began falling apart... and then, ultimately, we kick back to 6 and see his redemption.
- madcaps1980, on 10/01/2008, -0/+1Palpatine: [on the phone with Darth Vader] Vader! How's my favorite Sith?... Whoa whoa whoa... whoa, whoa. Just - slow down. Huh? What do you mean they blew up the Death Star? F**k! Oh, f**k! F**k! F**K!... Who's "they"?... What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?
[sighs] - sharkd, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1Fast... ship? HA! She's. Fast enough. For you. Old. Man.
- veriix, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1At least we know where it's gonna rank
- RodBorn, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1this got me thinking...
do the original audition tapes exist?
Well, the answer is a resounding yes!
http://digg.com/movies/STAR_WARS_The_Original_Audi ... - david4041, on 09/30/2008, -0/+0To pregnant woman re the birth of her future Jedi: "That's that last time he'll see female genitalia."
Triumph FTW. - Fleagleman, on 09/30/2008, -1/+1No Ewoks live-action special? Oh no, but you have the Christmas Special up there, and the cartoon Ewoks. No animated C-3PO and R2-D2 either. No Clone Wars series cartoons? No...
Aw, hell, it's just much easier to say how much this list sucks. -
