- ForumDriv, on 04/12/2009, -21/+742Thanks for posting this video. Fox is doing a terrific job of continuing the Bush legacy of embarrassing the U.S. in the eyes of the world.
- 1nhuman, on 04/12/2009, -24/+641Fox scares me.
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -3/+416"... 'cuz we'd all be speaking German, living under the flag of Japan"
That actually made me laugh - BLyday, on 04/13/2009, -10/+419 This is my impression of fox news:
Sean Hannity: So let me get this straight, you think us here at Fox News is biased?
Interviewee making an intelligent informed statement: Well I...
Sean hannity: I AM INTERUPPTING YOU WITH YELLING BECAUSE THE ONLY WAY I CAN MAKE A POINT IS MAKING IT SO THE GUEST CAN'T MAKE THEIRS!!! AND NOW I'M CUTTING YOU OFF JUST IN CASE YOU GET A WORD IN!! - inactive, on 04/12/2009, -15/+400Fox is such an endless parade of comedy.
- Gillos, on 04/12/2009, -9/+363Damnit! They cut out the best part:
I WANTED THE OVEN MIT WEATHER REPORT! - mmmunaf, on 04/13/2009, -10/+343Man. Glenn Beck is seriously ill.
- apastafarian, on 04/12/2009, -12/+327"Leans more to the right than a man with his right leg blown off"!!!! HAHAHA. I laughed, I cried, I also wanted to se the oven mitt weather report and this is going into my favorites!
- dipdog21, on 04/13/2009, -8/+237I see these cuts from Beck and I just wonder, how absolutely stupid do you have to be to fall for his overly dramatic *****!
- Cam_86, on 04/13/2009, -3/+224Country singers are, honest to god, the dumbest people in the country. Their fanbase is just as stupid, so the lyrics in their songs dont even have to make sense... they just need to *sound* xenophobic or ridiculously patriotic.
"Interior crocodile alligator, I drive a Chevrolet movie theater' is more thought provoking than any of the blatantly retarded ***** comming out of country singers mouths... with the exception of the pop-country.(Shania Twain, dixie chicks, etc... who still sound horrible imo, but at least make sense.) - jmrob, on 04/13/2009, -19/+206Those Brits and their use of the English language. Very witty idea, old chap! Spot on!
- rcm3, on 04/12/2009, -17/+202This guy's got us all figured out.
- radialturkey, on 04/13/2009, -3/+158That argument between the reporter and editor was tense.
- PaulC, on 04/13/2009, -5/+151When did Yahtzee start reviewing news networks?
- SnakeLemma, on 04/13/2009, -4/+145When he made the comment about how Fox anchors always complain about a liberal bias in the media, and then brag about their dominance as a news network, I was so angry that I never thought of that...But overall a great vid, the Glen Beck piece at the end scared me.
- vincevega87, on 04/13/2009, -6/+132"The fair and balanced newsmen of the distopian future sci-fi satirical shouty porn sledgehammer channel Fox News..."
Ahaha, brilliant! - vincevega87, on 04/13/2009, -3/+112It appears that you are also totally immune to the concept of irony. And by the way, the language you are talking in is called ENGLISH so technically you are the one talking with an accent.
- method7670, on 04/13/2009, -0/+103I live in oklahoma. You have no clue how correct that is.
- TheIndigoSky, on 04/13/2009, -1/+94WE'LL DO IT LIVE.
- tinkafoo, on 04/13/2009, -5/+98Dear Charlie Brooker,
I apologize.
Sincerely,
America - ZombieSociety, on 04/13/2009, -3/+91If we don't like it, click the remote?
If you don't like it, click your mouse. - TheIndigoSky, on 04/13/2009, -5/+90The problem is not so much the channel as it is the crazies who it convinces.
- michelebot, on 04/13/2009, -7/+87It's not Fox that scares me..........it's the paranoid, gun-toting people that believe this stuff that scare me.
- wrzhydr, on 04/13/2009, -0/+80Reminds me of Kenny Powers in East Bound and Down. "I'M NOT GOING TO STOP YELLING BECAUSE THAT MEANS I LOST THE ARGUMENT!"
- LonelyTylenoL, on 04/13/2009, -19/+97DOWN WITH FAUX "NEWS"!
- ImmediateAction, on 04/13/2009, -5/+74What the ***** does WWII and our "not living with the flag of Japan" have to do anything with questioning the blatant right bias of Fox News and the status quo. FYI ***** ass blindly nationalistic country musician, it is 2009 not 1944. Good God does Fox News suck a huge, throbbing, veiny and wart ridden horse *****.
- nullx42, on 04/13/2009, -0/+67Replace "parade" with "cesspool" and you've got yourself a 100% accurate sentence.
- theSAMOL, on 04/13/2009, -2/+69Country is a lot like rap, for every 1000 steaming piles of *****, there is one decent artist.
- acceleration, on 04/13/2009, -0/+65Let's hope you never leave your country if you can't even handle an English accent
- cochonnerie, on 04/13/2009, -3/+66The real travesty is that as Fox News increases in popularity, the other news channels will be compelled to imitate its formula so as to regain viewers. We're already seeing this... even CNN, a once well respected news channel, is increasingly going the route of newstainment. It's incredibly sad to see...
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -4/+65Charlie Brooker is the man. or at least certainly a man.
The youtube use xthemusic: http://www.youtube.com/user/xthemusic has all the series of Charlie's show Screenwipe up.
It's a show about TV; whats's on it, how it gets on, why it gets on, and most importantly features charlie watching the box and making snarky remarks about the legions of ***** that appear on it.
.
He is also putting up his new Newswipe show up every week, which is great if you live outside the UK and can't access iplayer. - orangederange, on 04/13/2009, -6/+60I mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!
- STBAT25, on 04/13/2009, -0/+53Just look at all the televangelists out there making money hand over fist and you can see that a lot of people are stupid.
- beloitpiper, on 04/13/2009, -0/+47But he LOVES HIS COUNTRY! He's on TV, he must be sincere. What's to fall for?
- vincevega87, on 04/13/2009, -0/+45To make it simple for you - just assume that 80% of Charlie Brooker's comments are tongue-in-cheek. So the fact that he called her a MILF doesn't mean that he spends days obsessing over her, rather he is taking the piss at her.
As for the accent, well, thats your problem, I can't help you there. - DamnLogins, on 04/13/2009, -1/+45Not only is it wrong, it's wrong on so many levels.
Back in the 30s, the right was all in favour of isolationism. In fact much of the right actively supported Hitler.
It was FDR, a Democrat, who as president introduced the lend-lease program of aid to the Allies which enabled Britain to survive until the US entered the war after Pearl Harbour.
It is downright disingenuous for the right to claim the glory for something they were actively opposed to. - LuCiFer6, on 04/13/2009, -1/+43Glenn Beck scares the ***** of me right now.
- FreddieD, on 04/13/2009, -0/+41You saw just how dumb the fan base was as soon as the Dixie Chicks dared to speak out against GW Bush.
- radialturkey, on 04/13/2009, -2/+43Why would that be a reason not to worry?
- Samohtneas, on 04/13/2009, -4/+43Glenn Beck scares the ***** out of me.
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -3/+41It's an english show, you might take a second to think about that.
Now realise that it is a show about television. Got that?
Specifically Television news. still with me?
Comparing the Uk news (familiar) with Us News (unfamiliar).
Who is the biggest channel in American News, Fox, who is most different to the sane presenters (if a little chumsy these days) on Uk News.
That's right my chumpette, it's Glenn ***** Beck.
To anyone used to watching news in Europe he is the equivalent of Trevor McDonald smearing ***** on the walls of the News at ten studio.
Jeremy Paxman he ain't - DephexTwin, on 04/13/2009, -1/+39But if Hitler took over Japan then why would the US be flying a flag of Japan? Even Japan wouldn't be flying a flag of Japan in that scenario.
- Jeremy82465, on 04/13/2009, -3/+38I have never seen anything on Glenn Beck . . . I am now very very afraid of him.
- cochonnerie, on 04/13/2009, -1/+36I remember the first time I read 1984 and how I thought that it was just too extreme to be plausible... that doublethink was not possible... but here you have a perfect, real world example of doublethink.. and its amazing... and sad.
- infiniphunk, on 04/13/2009, -6/+41logged into Digg just to digg up this
- snapcase, on 04/13/2009, -1/+31Bill O'Reilly does this too. Otherwise he'd actually have to come up with some sort of counter argument and try to sound sane.
- Cam_86, on 04/13/2009, -4/+33Fox news is annoying, but the new Glenn Beck program actually does make me a little edgy. It honestly looks like hes a cult leader, hyping his followers to drink sarin-laced koolaid the moment the government starts to enact socialized medicine, or brings in a gun registry.
The goofy multicolored backdrops and wandering/dramatic camera angles dont help.
Seriously, go watch some Jim Jones or Marshall Applewhite(heavens gate) youtube video's. Its creepy how similar they are to Beck.. - Kordras, on 04/13/2009, -6/+34Awesome, and he used a The Specials song which makes it double awesome.
- UncleScubba, on 04/12/2009, -5/+33I KNOW!!! Me too...heh-heh.
- algaeturd, on 04/13/2009, -9/+36Or you can just see it on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aEk864YrKw&fea ...
Glenn Beck is a piece of *****. Period.
I bet he got beat up every single day when he was in school and a virgin until he was 40.
Ask him about his ankle tattoo! He's cutting edge neo-con who just also happens to be an alcoholic and talks about it every 5 minutes.
I'd probably would have become an alcoholic too if I looked like and had the life of Glenn Beck. -
