- mattsidesinger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Mekka Lekka Hi-Mekka Hiney Ho.

- ajrizzo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26The secret word of the day is: 'Erotica!'
(SCREAMS!!) - Robiah, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23that "child porn" was over 100 years old,and was part of a collection of art he had throughout his house.

RTFA!
- hecatomb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Hopefully they can get Rob Zombie back on the production crew...
- Tallon29, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14This article reminded me how much I miss Phil Hartman :(

Mecca-lecca hi, mecca chonny ho.
A-mola mecca-molla mecca-cholla mola hey.
Your wish is granted and don't kill Jambi. - greysun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11The 'adult oriented' Peewee stage show was classic ... I would like to see more, but it wouldn't be near as profitable and probably won't get made like that because of it.
I'm not sure why you got dugg down... probably by people that don't know their Peewee history : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peewee_Herman - denboy74, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12What about the movie "Blow"? He does a good job in that one.
- seattle98104, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Good. I loved and still love peewee's playhouse. The christmas special is a god damn cult classic. Everyone should have it in their collection.
- BigCalhoun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10It's good to see him get a second shot. Many celebrities that have done much worse in their careers come back and did better than they ever did. Not like I'll be watching the show personally, but I certainly wouldn't have an issue with my kids watching it despite the actors personal troubles.
- Yashar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11@ themarkshow
As a child I loved watching Pee Wee's Playhouse, after a while my mom all of a sudden would not let me watch it. I never understood why until later on. People are more understanding now (hopefully). - purple, on 10/12/2007, -9/+16Oh look everyone, it's the second coming of Jesus.
- optigon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Who cares? Pee-Wee's coming back!
- BigCalhoun, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Man, I didn't even realize that was Laurence Fishburn. Gotta love the line about asking Wesley Snipes...Snipes on the Pee-Wee Herman show...as Blade?
- ipodfreek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Now everyone go out tonight and rent Mystery Men. He's great in that as The Spleen (or as he says it, The Shhpleen)
- gallagherFTW, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@koonchu
TAKE IT BACK. jingle all the way was tolerable simply because of phil hartman. not even the comedic apocalypse brought on by sinbad could hamper his performance. - Nobi-Wan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5He was good in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, too.
I'm talking about the movie. - merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6"this show is just stupid. the only people who will watch are nerds and stoners"
"this show"? You talk like the shows not 20 years old...
You are either too young to remember it, or just an old fart with no sense of humor. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I liked Paul Reubens better in Nice Dreams when he was snorting coke and smoking joints with Cheech and Chong! Party time sheeow!
- fantasticFlan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Not to mention how awesome he would have been as Zapp Brannigan.
- sundancekid503, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@koonchu
"The Truth: If Phil Hartman had lived, no one would have given a rat's ass. Cardboard theatrics, generic announcer voicework and emotional rigidity. THAT was Hartman at his best."
You are a humorless fool! I gave a rats ass about Phil Hartman long before he died. He had some classic SNL sketches and his work on the Simpsons still cracks me up. "Hi I'm Troy McLure!"
Take back this blasphemy you just posted! - rasterbator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That is good knowledge!
- koonchu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@sanitycheck:
Will Ferrell. Okay. I somewhat agree. He wasn't that bad in "Stranger than Fiction." I can see him eventually doing a tragic comedy and getting praised, though. - starvo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Wait, what? Rob Zombie? (Scurries off to Google to find out if this is true..)
- cuoops, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was some funny ***** right there.
- TheDonNMikeShow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can still catch the only true Pee-Wee Herman Show on HBO. Much better than the kid show and on par with his great first movie. It was a fantastic live performance that took place in a Hollywood theater. Was that a big piece of cake or what? --- Mr. Bungle
- nuts&bolts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I liked old Paul as the one armed vampire in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. You just got to love the 10 minutes to die scene.
- Aaronichi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3TBS had the memorial episode for Bill the other night.
He was a great comedian. - crapple, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hartman is STILL my favorite SNL star of all time. Countless characters and voiceovers. Newsradio is also STILL my favorite sitcom of all time.
And I really hope they make a new Pee Wee movie....ahhh...the innocence of the 80s... - Yashar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ captjc
Just as I was getting that phrase out of my head....
=( - daveddd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Oh no, not again!" - the guy with the alien ripping out of his chest at the end of SpaceBalls.
seems to fit here too. - omyard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd love to see more movies or TV shows from Pee-Wee.I have both Playhouse DVD collections along with Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Big Top Pee-Wee. They're all still as funny as they were 20 years ago. The best part is even my 6 year old love to watch them.
- bubba9999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Phil Hartman was getting better and better as time went on. He was enormously talented and anything he was in was way better off for it. You're not worth the link under the keys on your keyboard, foo'.
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Newer, hipper character name: Pii-Wii
- crazysasha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like it's time to pray to the big guy!
Dear Steve Buscimi, please bless us with another PeeWee Herman movie. And let Cowboy Curtis be there. With his boot-shaped side burns. Amen. - ref-d, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2"Pull my finger"
- rtgordon, on 10/12/2007, -13/+12They should bring back it back to the way it was before pee wees playhouse.
- rygoke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Get ready for the kids to see the ultimate whack shack, sarcasm rules...
- sanitycheck, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3"The Truth: If Phil Hartman had lived, no one would have given a rat's ass. Cardboard theatrics, generic announcer voicework and emotional rigidity. THAT was Hartman at his best."
It's also Will Ferrell at his best, and we still love him. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+7http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Hartman
"Hartman was murdered by his wife, who then killed herself."
That was very selfish of her. - rodzilla, on 10/12/2007, -9/+7Second shot ! geeze, the first shot hit me in the back of the head during the opening credits of the movie
- Yashar, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Hopefully, Wesley Spines would kill that damn genie.
- mwmccullough, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1And let the nightmares begin. (sighs)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1umm wtf does this have to do with anything. and guess what it's on right now on hmm ADULT SWIM
hey look you're a nerd that hasn't checked before commenting, an odessy for sure! - makerandcreator, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1"...old cast back together again." Like Mr. Lawlerence... would he?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Pity about the rest of that trainwreck - I mean movie!
