- Pentatonic, on 04/15/2009, -4/+108all that matters is that it had a good ending. guy came out with enough money to help him live comfortably for the rest of his life while bitch mcfancypants had to personally pay him out of pocket.

- dafragsta, on 04/15/2009, -0/+44They're real, Jerry. They're real and they're spectacular!
- rjyoung0307, on 04/15/2009, -0/+41well she shouldn't have been dressing like she wanted a page of the dictionary copied and put on her desk.
- richgustavson, on 04/15/2009, -0/+38Not that there's anything wrong with that...
- PlanckTime, on 04/15/2009, -0/+37If she had to pay the 1.5 million, a large settlement against an individual, it would be reasonable to assume that he successfully proved that she was not in fact offended and lied to get him fired. If his statements were in fact true then he was entitled to the money.
Correct Summary: The female co-worker decides after the fact that she is offended (probably suggested by her new husband that she was) and when confronted with the fact that she is a foul mouthed trashy sort of person who cannot reasonably claim offense, she lies in order to get him fired. As a result she now has to pay him $1.5 million. Justice is served. - shadus, on 04/15/2009, -1/+36... of the 26m he was awarded he got $42.95 after attorney fees.
- joeyhndc, on 04/15/2009, -1/+34Summary:
Mackenzie: I can't believe that that episode made it past the ratings board. Bob saw it, right Bob?
Bob: Sure did, it was awful.
Mackenzie: Well, I don't want to say the word that they used, but here's the dictionary definition of it if you want to know.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best: Hmm, this could be sexual harassment.
Supervisor: Well, go have a chat with him, and let me know what he meant.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best: Hey Mackenzie, I wasn't comfortable with you using that term at the workplace.
Mackenzie: Oh I'm sorry, West. I figured I presented it in a roundabout way, it was relevant to the episode and it wouldn't offend you, as I've heard you use similar language in the past.
Best: I never! Sexual Harassment!
Lawyers, supervisor: Out! Now! But you can still finish your project under reduced pay, as long as you don't sue us or anything... - jon31rm, on 04/15/2009, -0/+29These pretzels... ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!
- upnortherik, on 04/15/2009, -0/+28Small things? The guy had a great career which was destroyed. He was labeled a 'pervert' because of the actions of Miller and Best, which were fraudulent. I don't see the damage as 26 million dollars, but to say it's a small thing is a bit of an understatement.
- michaelrsa, on 04/15/2009, -1/+28In this case it seems that it was his coworkers fault for turning him in. She reported him for using the term clitoris. Dick movie I might add.
- inactive, on 04/15/2009, -1/+28Everyone knows that talking to a woman about a TV show at work is a gateway to being propositioned for anal sex.
- Narcism, on 04/15/2009, -2/+27They never use the word "masturbation", you sick, sick man.
- RandomNetUser, on 04/15/2009, -0/+24People need to stop being so sensitive about everything. If you want to be so protected, go lock yourself in a padded room, inside a bubble suit with earplugs and blinders on.
There are some things that go too far and rightly deserve to be punished, but most of the complaints you see these days are just plain petty and simple. - TheAeneid, on 04/15/2009, -0/+22Sounds like Patricia Best is a ... What's the word I'm looking for?... Not Delores, it's another word for...
- chipxsd, on 04/15/2009, -2/+24yeah, have you ever noticed that?
- upnortherik, on 04/15/2009, -0/+22Actually he showed her a copied page of the dictionary with the word clitoris on it. This scared her for life, understandably.
- evisr8r, on 04/15/2009, -1/+22Man what a happy ending, wasn't expecting that.
- PlanckTime, on 04/15/2009, -0/+21The nine million was punitive - extra to punish. The remainder of the amount awarded would have been the other amounts he was asking for, most of it lost salary from not being the director level.
- chicagojack, on 04/15/2009, -2/+21Next they will be firing people for sexual harrassment
- kasjogren, on 04/15/2009, -1/+19Muuuuuulva?
- Terasiel, on 04/15/2009, -0/+17If you can't even say "breast" without it being sexuality explicit in the workplace I imagine "clitoris" is undeniably over the line.
Now I wouldn't consider it offensive personally. - Billistic, on 04/15/2009, -1/+18I'm glad the guy got a major payout, the whole sexual harassment thing was getting a little overboard. This is one of those stories you would've heard during the 90's and made men afraid to talk to women about anything in the workplace.

- shakenblake9, on 04/15/2009, -3/+17who the ***** are you? WHO THE ***** ARE YOU?
seinfeld humor is spot on and the reason you think its being beat to death is because the comedy genius that was seinfeld happens to apply to real life situations on an almost daily basis. the people i can't stand are the people that haven't watched seinfeld, don't 'get' its humor (were too busy watching Friends no doubt), and miss out on these spot on seinfeld references that can make any situation (finding your car in a parking lot, ordering soup, waiting for a table at a chinese restaurant) that much more enjoyable. therefore, before you start dissing on the humor of the most popular sitcom ever to hit primetime television, i suggest you shut your ***** mouth and start with season one. - q00u, on 04/15/2009, -0/+14No, no, no. It's a difficult line for guys to walk. Equality in the workplace versus sexual harassment. In this case, she clearly overblew the whole situation, and used her "sexual harassment" card inappropriately. The company didn't investigate further than her side, and cost the guy 15 years of strife trying to get back on his feet.
He honestly deserves every penny of that, and I hope that bitch has to turn tricks on street corners to make a living. - NJank, on 04/15/2009, -0/+9what's with these people?
- FuzzplugJones, on 04/15/2009, -0/+9I was not aware that he counter-sued and won. That's awesome. This sort of ***** is way too common.
- StandardsDT, on 04/15/2009, -0/+9Yeah and she didn't sue him, she reported him to a higher up and he was then fired. He then sued her, his boss and the company.
