- mmurph, on 05/30/2009, -1/+35I expected this to be from Cracked or Collegehumor... but the Chicago Tribune? I guess if your newspaper is failing just start turning out crappy internet top 10 lists and make a few cents on banner clicks.
- iBenx, on 05/30/2009, -0/+30Slurm! Its highly addictive!
- nullcodes, on 05/30/2009, -9/+39Abstract:
Cats can't move their eyes much.
Article:
Cats can't move their eyes much. I was observing my cat and seeing how he looks around, it's pretty clear that unlike humans, cats can only move their eyes slightly only about 3.72 degrees left/right .. compared to humans who can do about 79.86 degrees right/left.
The cat relies on head movement to look at objects located 3.73 degrees or more to the left or right.
Anyway, even though this is irrelevant to this article I thought I would release my findings early for dissemination to the public.
Just as an FYI, I would appreciate that the Nobel prize ceremony be moved to California because I don't feel like going all the way to Sweden (especially when its cold there) to collect the award.

It's been used in at least 4 J.J. Abrams things (Alias, Star Trek, Cloverfield, and Heroes. Okay, so technically Heroes isn't J.J. Abrams, but still.) - trevorh, on 05/30/2009, -0/+12Blue Sun corporation from Firefly should have been on the list.

- druciferre, on 05/30/2009, -0/+11Not necessarily TV, but some note worthy brands include Big Kahuna Burger, and Red Apple Cigarettes from Tarantino movies like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.

- junkfoodjoe, on 05/30/2009, -0/+6Article needs more Mom's Robot Oil.
- MasterGrief, on 05/31/2009, -0/+6I think I read somewhere that the Pizza Planet delivery truck has made it into every Pixar movie since Toy Story. It's parked next to the house with the bug zapper ("I can't help it, it's so beautiful!") in A Bug's Life, it's apparently shown as a blur in the high speed RV scene in The Incredibles, WALL-E is seen lifting the hood of it in one of the early scenes of his movie, and it's barely visible in the extreme distance on a bridge in Ratatouille.
Edit: I found the link that gave me all this information in the first place:
