Admittedly, I was one of those people, refusing to watch it, until one day I sat down to see what the buzz was about. The first season is golden, the second season is good, the third starts to lack, and I didn't even bother with the fourth.

      But seriously people, the first season of the OC isn't bad. The dynamic of ryan and seth is great.

      I have to admit though, Micha Barton is a horrible actress, but it's alright cause her character isn't all that likable, so it just gives you another reason to hate her.

      How were these shows ranked? I am not saying that touched by a Angel was any good, but being on for 9 years means it had some type of fan base.
  • coltrane68, on 06/27/2008, -1/+12Fantasy Island was one of the highlights of my TV schedule when I was 8-10 yrs. old. Every Saturday night, that show would creep me out. It was great, and a heck of a lot more creative than most of the second rate soap operas on this list.

The first time I even saw 5 minutes of it I hated it for the simple fact that it looked like people who were around 27 years old were playing as high school kids. The only reason I even no about these is because I've been forced to watch them from time to time. Ugh...

      Make that second best - Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel were the best part of the show.

      It was witty, funny, dramatic, and well acted. What more could you want in a show?

The O.C. is a fantastic show with credible acting for its setting, original music for a TV show and at the start a fantastic storyline. There were times when the story fell apart or became over-dramatised but for the most part the ideas it raised were trend-setters for that genre, especially the strong aspect of comedy in somewhat harsh situations. I can't help but feel that the author had not really watched the shows that were mentioned.

    Actually, this was pretty accurate. Too bad that it was just about drama. How many *sitcoms* were just awful in only the past 20 years? Then again, that would be a top 100 list because it would be so easy to fill up 25.

    And the O.C. was awesome(first 2 seasons at least) And 7th Heaven might of been one big judgmental Christian series, but it kept me interested for a few summers as an adolescent.

    And regarding 'Fantasy island', I can't explain why it is in that list at all.
