- readme, on 12/20/2007, -2/+108Alejandro! Alejandrooooooo!!! gahghahga! Help me Alejandro!
Man I hate that bitch. - Aberen, on 12/20/2007, -6/+97This article is stupid. Half of the powers are described incorrectly.
- Surfrock66, on 12/20/2007, -3/+72Buried because a) Hana Geitleman was in the web comics extensively and b) Nikki sanders' power is super strength, not being crazy. That's just a crappy coincidence.
- TheKricket, on 12/20/2007, -2/+61parkmans ABILITY TO READ MINDS one of the WORST powers?! dugg down for that
he can READ MINDS! - MaddieCakes, on 12/20/2007, -0/+47Niki's superpower isn't her split personality, that's just a mental disorder she has. Her real ability is super-strength.
I like Matt Parkman's ability though. I've always wanted to read peoples' thoughts. - BoneheadFarker, on 12/20/2007, -1/+429 was a surprise. Parkman is one of the most powerful of the group now that he knows how to control other people's thoughts. And mind-reading alone isn't that bad a power...
- dunnylovehun, on 12/20/2007, -4/+42FTA: "Maybe Sylar killed her and used her power to upgrade his DISH Network subscription wirelessly." That's classic. When I saw her power I thought the same thing. Of all the really awesome super powers still untouched, this is what they go with?
- CondoleezzaRice, on 12/20/2007, -2/+36does Alejandro even have a power? Alejandro just seemed to be able to calm Maya, but Maya eventually learned to curb her power herself making Alejandro useless.
- merbot, on 12/20/2007, -1/+33Obviously super strength is a symptom of bi polar disorder.
- Sornos, on 12/20/2007, -0/+31I don't really think that the "molecular manipulation" is such a useless power. I mean with a little training that guy could do anything.
- inactive, on 12/20/2007, -1/+31Super Hearing! Step back, I've super hearing. I will hear you to death. That's right, I can hear you masturbating from 100 miles away, you sicko. Most useless power ever.
- Zinital, on 12/20/2007, -1/+30hana died by crashing into a satelite above earth which is the other tracking device next to the little girl whom can locate peaople with powers.
- inactive, on 12/20/2007, -0/+29majAAAAAA MAJYAAAAAAA
- jmpeagle, on 12/20/2007, -0/+28i wonder what maya and alejandro's contribution to the story-line would have been if the writer's strike didn't force them to end the season so early
- TheKricket, on 12/20/2007, -1/+28exactly! the powers aren't even correctly described!
- dinot, on 12/20/2007, -1/+26You're absolutely right! It even incorrectly described the powers!
- tjdoom, on 12/20/2007, -1/+22Well technically Sylar's original power was to "see how things work".
- coollettuce, on 12/20/2007, -0/+21Matt Parkman has the ability to read minds and force people to do stuff (mess with free will), he's basically a god. Who wouldn't want that power?
- thanakar, on 12/20/2007, -1/+22you'd do her and you know it.
- tjdoom, on 12/20/2007, -1/+21Half the powers the writer says the characters have are incorrectly described. Matt Parkman can communicate two ways now telepathically, as well as control their thoughts. Niki's actual power is super-strength, Hana is a device used for the Heroes ARG (Alternate Reality Game), so she needed an internet-related power. Besides, I'd love to shoot nuclear blasts or fireballs out of my hands, how is that not cool?
- R0l0, on 12/20/2007, -1/+21I'm sorely disappointed expecting the "heart" guy on Captain Planet to be included in the list!
- p2a1x7, on 12/20/2007, -0/+19He was immune to her disease and it seems like he could absorb it when his eyes turned black.
- arbulus, on 12/20/2007, -1/+20The article pissed me off. Multiple personalities are not her power - she has super strength.
- Ramenhood, on 12/20/2007, -1/+19...I usually liked Cracked, but this top 10 list was just stupid. Half the powers are awesome, i.e. creating fire, haveing nuclear power, READING MINDS. Just a stupid list with a few funny jokes.
- ricree, on 12/20/2007, -0/+18Yeah, reading minds could be pretty cool as long as you could control it. If nothing else, you could go off to Vegas an kick ass at some poker tournaments.
- delecti, on 12/20/2007, -0/+17Why would potentially unlimited gold be worthless? Clearly he's gotten a ton of money from that, if he was the funding behind the company.
- IEatHamburgers, on 12/20/2007, -0/+17Yeah, and you know what? I don't think those powers were correctly described at all.
- platypibri, on 12/20/2007, -0/+16Nerd Nitpick: Johnny BLAZE is the Ghostrider, Johnny STORM is in the Fantastic Four.
- delecti, on 12/20/2007, -1/+17It was in the online graphic novels.
- Spuy767, on 12/20/2007, -0/+15The ***** ability of all is the ability to swim fast and converse with sea life.
- Numarx, on 12/20/2007, -4/+18I agree with you man! The guy making this list didn't even describe the powers correctly.
- Surfrock66, on 12/20/2007, -0/+14He must have a power, her poison doesn't effect him.
- usbserial, on 12/20/2007, -0/+13You hit it on the nose! The powers never got described correctly, not even close!
- inactive, on 12/20/2007, -6/+19"Hana's power was more like just having a form of built-in Wi-Fi in that she could email without the aid of a computer."
Dugg for remembering the most ridiculous and unnecessary plot device ever. The guy who could turn stuff into gold a la "King Midas" was the runner up IMO. - bytor4232, on 12/20/2007, -0/+13Some days I read Cracked and thing, "what a great site." Then there are days like today. Why would they give someone who obviously didn't pay attention to the show an article like this to write? Parkman can read peoples thoughts and manipulate them, like his dad. Niki has super strength, but won't/can't use it, only Jessica will. Maybe someone who has actually watched an entire episode should have wrote that article.
- jasnmb, on 12/20/2007, -0/+13yep, Hanna's story was mostly in the online 'graphic novels' on NBC's Heroes site
- Tr33fiddy, on 12/20/2007, -1/+14Worst power would be Peter Petrelli in a world where you are the only Hero. Pretty damn frustrating I'd bet.
Sylar's sucks ass too, having to brutally murder someone every time you want another power. - n0c0ntr0l, on 12/20/2007, -0/+12That was soooo inaccurate. Aleandro barely does anything. Parkman's ability, gosh one could become sooooo rich with it.
- TheKricket, on 12/20/2007, -0/+12not for a professional football coach
- Chompy, on 12/20/2007, -0/+12Nothing tops "Nacho Storm". The ability to summon a sudden, violent storm of nachoes.
Archrival: the CheeseMaster. If only they got along.. think of the parties! - Hermiod, on 12/20/2007, -0/+11His power is transmutation, we haven't seen the limits of it.
- ricree, on 12/20/2007, -0/+11Since most of those were evaluated with an eye towards what an average person could do with them in everyday life, I'd say that the ability to turn anything into gold would be up towards the top.
- cgrickard, on 12/20/2007, -0/+11i agree w/sornos. but i don't think the writers strike did in the twins...i think it was kring once he realized most people hated them.
i think that the twins were meant to go to NY, maya turns NYC's eyes to goo (like sornos says), but i think peter woulda been the one to neutralize her (sylar woulda killed alejandro in the finale, but peter accidentally absorbed his powers before he was killed). - c0ldfusi0n, on 12/20/2007, -1/+12Who cares now, he's dead.
- Roger, on 12/20/2007, -0/+11No diggity.
- IEatHamburgers, on 12/20/2007, -0/+10Are you new to Digg, Woody? You were supposed to say C-C-COMBO BREAKER if you're going to break the running joke!
- megashaun, on 12/20/2007, -0/+10Don't forget the numerous cries of "POLICIA! HOMOCIDO!"
- coleki, on 12/20/2007, -0/+9i agree... most of the powers are incorrectly described in the article.
however, what bugs me is not the powers themselves, but the ways in which the heroes fail to use them. Peter is the largest example of this.
i don't want to give away too many spoilers, but there were SO many times where I would stare at the screen and go, "Really? You're not going to just _____?" - BoneheadFarker, on 12/20/2007, -1/+10Yeah...try telling cops that electricity is a useless power to wield...
- DiggzDE, on 12/20/2007, -4/+13He can do more than READ minds. Have none of you seen the second season? Seriously, he starts learning how to not just READ them but control them as well. In the second season his powers went from entertainingly useless to plain kickass.
Jedi Mindtrick anyone? -
