Yes I think we've had enough commercials shoved down our throats the past ten years to wear a condom when you have sex- obviously there are a lot of knuckleheads out there who aren't heeding the warning. BUT here's a real novel idea, if you DO get pregnant (and yes guys if you get someone pregnant) maybe the best idea is to man/woman up to your choice and not kill your baby. Maybe I'll start watching MTV again after all (they lost me after Tila Tequila- oy gevalt).

Back when abortion was illegal in every state there still were abortions. Mothers must love their babies and hate the thought of killing them more than the embarrassment, shame, or inconvenience of having a child. May God speed this day.

The work we must set out to do is to change hearts, minds and values. Those we can have a real and much more immediate effect on. Women have been lied to for too many years now--being told that there are no lasting physical/emotional/spiritual effects from an abortion, being told that all they are aborting is a "mass of cells and tissue." Although I think we definately need to keep fighting tax-payer funded abortions, this is mainly a spiritual battle we're fighting. We need to teach young women AND MEN the Scriptural truths they need to make the only real "choice" there is.

- TigersEye, on 12/04/2008, -2/+2One small correction to your excellent post. Abortion in the case of threat to the mother's health was legal in all 50 (57?) states prior to Roe v. Wade. Unfortunately only about 1.8% of abortions since RvW is done due to risk to the mother's life.
